Interested in comments:
PokerStars Sunday Million, quarterly $1000 buy-in. I regularly play 200 buy-in, but probablywouldn't play this without qualifying. Consider my skill level middle of pack for this field.
Blinds 25/50, 45 min into tourney.
Stack 3400 chips, started with 3000. At or slightly above ave stack.
Hero in SB.
Folded around to cut-off (villain). Villain has been quite aggressive so far but no signs of being a maniac. His stack is about 3700.
Villain raises to 150.
Button folds.
Hero raises to 550. Comments?
BB folds.
Villain pushes all-in.

OK, what to do?

He doesn't have much info on me. If anything, he probably views me as solid, tight.

It's a deepstacked mtt. Why take flips for your whole stack when you can take better situations with the slower blind levels.

Well, my reraise preflop was an amount intended to represent KK or AA.
When he reraised all-in I was 90% sure it was a coinflip.
My initial thoughts were pretty much as you stated, "it's early, wait for later".
Of course, I waited too long and eventually told myelf "You have to win coinflips along the way, so let's gamble."

He had JJ and it held up. While I think my decision was flawed, his push seems like a really poor decision.
Of course, that's no consolation.
