poker is teh suck.

-$102

I was down $250 after the first 100 hands, so just happy to recover half way.
Lesson of the day: don't multi-table deep stacked against regs just because you think they stink post-flop: no reason to battle with the semi-decent, when the legally retarded with their cheerio stained fingers are right around the corner.

sweat session with iopq

I really should just 1-table HU or 2-table FR or 6m for the next sweat... I really can't concentrate, especially with someone who just won't shut up and has an opinion on every fucking decision. Smile

Today:
+$180

Had the biggest whale I've ever seen two seats to my left... couldn't reseat, the guy to his left made 1.3k before he left... yes 50NL 6max... not even a deep table.

Just took 2 stacks off him... this is so sad.
after the 1.3k stack left, the 3 guys to his left were obviously multi-tabling bots who had no clue what was going on, and no hud either apparently.

By the way, what's up with all the people not looking at their results? Just because I want to know how much I'm up or down doesn't mean I'm being result-oriented.
I pride myself in being able to play my worst regardless of whether I'm up, down or break-even.

took a shot at 100NL, and lost 2BI in record time... it's not really a shot when you have 50+ BI, but blah... Variance is a gay.

I think I will start Bonus grinding some euro site next month... I've played €50NL for long enough before I played Full Tilt... it's a logical step up in stakes... from 50 to 100NL still feels a little steep. €50NL plays exactly the same, and I can expect to make 50% more.

Scanned the 100NL tables for some whales and found a couple... looks like 100NL HU is not going to be much different. People are fucking retarded.

Turn call is debatable, but I was pretty sure he was FOS and wouldn't have the cojones to bluff shovel the river - especially with the SPR... also bet size didn't really make sense for him if he had a K or better...

Thanks. Good luck with the HU tourney!

Took a 2 day break, so this was the first session of the month.
Played 5h 50NL HU session in the afternoon - down $290 - which I think was my worst, or close to my worst session evar.

The hand where I decided to quit was when I had K3s... I don't really remember the action before but board was K473, I'm pretty sure he made a gay sized 3-bet pre that I called... he bet the flop and turn, and for some reason I had him on a weak K almost certainly, and I thought my best option would be to minraise - or just a little more than minimum, leaving him with a really gay spr if he just calls, and sure enough he tilt shovels K9, I snap, river is an 8, but Full Tilt shipps him the pot, and I'm like oh noes, it really is rigged! But I misread my hand, I had K2, so...
That was embarassing.

So now I come back from saturday night fever, and decide to fire up a couple of 100NL FR tables and make $440 in 400 hands to save the day.

I really need to pick up pace and get the sessions going more regularly. But I also need to learn to get into the right mindset on demand, and not having to wait until I feel like playing.

Since the last update HEM has a zoom feature and sometimes I zoom by accident.

I'll have to take a break for 2 days again... other stuff coming up. Also a new apartment in the works, and trying to put a band together once again. - I don't know what we're going to play, all I know is: I want it to be called Marching.
I really want to play with some electronics guy or DJ... I've played on a couple of free sessions with laptop musicians and it was always awesome.
Also wanted to start a drumming blog for so long where I post a new groove or something every week... may be able to start it this month.

Fitness operation not going well... I have no discipline. I'm just skin covering coffee and doughnuts right now.

hand is played fine. It's hard to play for stacks 200bb deep. Especially on that club turn. What is your play to a turn check-shove from villain?

If he raises the flop I get his stack - and how can he just call?

Turn c/s would be one hell of a strange play.
1- he's IP Razz
2 - he's only repping AcQc
3 - he's betting 3.5 times the pot

Against this guy I probably fold because he had been very passive, but it's pretty tough.

So I'm playing with this FT pro... and he's calling all my 3-bets and then folds the flop without fail, and just randomly insta-pot bets and stuff... so I look him up.
http://www.pokertableratings.com/fulltilt-player-search/ryan+dreyer
so he won a donkament and now he's a pro.
Congratulations Very Happy

So many stupid hands... I'll just post the links.

villain was 50/4 with no 3-bets over ~100 hands... but he shoved the flop the moment it came out, so... idk

http://weaktight.com/1118867
MP1 is extremely LAGG, and MP2 is calling all of his raises.
Flop is just to isolate the shortstack, and I thought I could get the other guy to fold pretty lightly.

http://weaktight.com/1118930
Turn is for value.

Wasn't too much fun... had a young live-pro to my right for about an hour who had a €1k chip on display, so we know he's l33t... told everyone what they had on every hand... and circled around the table for a full minute after he busted out, berating the guy for calling his minraise with K9 from the bb.

Last hand, I raise TT from the CO with a 42k stack, 800/1600/200 level, chipleader tanks a little and then pushes all-in. I thought there was a chance he's full of it - he had been raised a lot, and seemed to min 3-bet for value usually. But what made my decision was that there were at least 1.5 more hours before the FT, and I realized I could make an average cash playing at home, and I prolly had 35% equity against his range at worst anyway.
ez call lohl

Ace high is the best hand on the turn like 85% of the time in this spot*, but it's a very draw heavy board, so he's more likely to be semi-bluffing... I really don't want to see a lot of river cards. If he's good enough to realize that he made a stupid turn bet, he could put me on exactly Ax and make a really marginal river bet and get me to fold a lot.

But then there's really no point in betting the turn with a draw either... I'm not going to bet when the 8 pairs after I checked the flop, and I'd have a hard time parting with A high.

*Just because of the bet sizing... he knows I don't have any pair, any draw after I check the flop... so there's no point in betting that big... and I do know the guy somewhat - value bets look different.

Had to reinstall xp because my hd was dying, and I had so much crap on anyway, so I didn't bother mirroring the partition...
After that I didn't get HEM to work... got a Teamviewer session scheduled with support for today. Tried to get PT working so I at least have a hud and can do session reviews, but PT refuses to autoimport - sais FT doesn't save HH's, which is wrong. I can only manually import new hands.

So no hud, but I played anyway today... sucked in some spots, but I can't wait forever.

Computer trouble continues. I'm seriously considering switching back to linux and running the poker stuff in a VM - I was running linux for a couple of years before my favorite distributions made some really gay decisions synchronously, and I didn't like the alternatives... and because I started playing lots of poker and SP2 made XP acceptable to use, I got back on the windows train.

So anyways...

90min.
+$120

I've lost pace, but I'll try to pick it up again.
Tomorrow I'll have to squeeze in a breakfast session.

didn't see you at breakfast Wink
there was a new 26-21 8-tabling constant pressure type who was keeping the FR deep tables interesting. Took me a while to adjust but eventually we ended up breakeven against each other over 1k hands

you been playing 6-max or something?

May graph:

Running hawt.
Right now I'm playing a bit with PokerEV trying to figure out how hot exactly. Sklansky bucks aren't that much behind, but I think I got very lucky in set-over-set & KK vs AA pre situations...
can't figure out how to filter those yet.
Also got lucky to get to play against A LOT of borderline retards... can't put a number on that.

One session FR, one HU. I think I'll stick with FR even though I still think HU is really soft... it's just too much pain.
