A place to discuss this might be a good idea. A lot of leaks come from incorrectly playing the blinds.

Here is some blind defense:

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 2Heart, 4Spade.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button raises, Hero calls, BB folds.

Flop: (5 SB) 8Heart, 6Club, 3Diamond (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) JDiamond (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

River: (3.50 BB) 5Spade (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Final Pot: 5.50 BB

Results in white below:
Button has Kd Ac (high card, ace).
Hero has 2h 4s (straight, six high).
Outcome: Hero wins 5.50 BB.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (7 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with JSpade, ADiamond.
UTG folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO folds, Button raises, Hero calls, BB folds.

Flop: (5 SB) 2Diamond, 7Spade, JDiamond (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: (2.50 BB) 5Diamond (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

River: (4.50 BB) KDiamond (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Final Pot: 6.50 BB

Results in white below:
Button has 5s Ks (two pair, kings and fives).
Hero has Js Ad (flush, ace high).
Outcome: Hero wins 6.50 BB.

The button on these hands was the same guy. Needless to say, he was pissed when I called with 24o. He started razzing me though on stealing my blinds, thats when the second one happened and he learned his lesson. This guy left, then the hand after that I was in the blinds again:

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with JClub, 9Spade.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB raises, Hero calls.

Flop: (4 SB) 8Club, TClub, 4Club (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Turn: (3 BB) 7Heart (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB folds.

Final Pot: 4 BB

Results in white below:
No showdown. Hero wins 4 BB.

Generally, if you know its a blind steal, or at least you have a pretty good idea it is, then 1 bet will help your table image. NL I have no idea Wink

Thanks for the reply everyone.
e-jeff. Thanks for the blind defense hands. When I have problems in the blind I will continue to post them in the lmit hand's section. God I need help in this area. Seems like a lot of people will overdefend their blinds, I hardly defend them at all.

well, see that fellow who posted above you called "deletme" well when he signed up here he was called {spam URL removed by Xianti}..com because thats his website. So everytime he posted he was spamming (as his name was a website address) so Xianti changed his name to deleteme (I dont think he's posted here since his name was changed! spammer!)

So FDD = his website free fifty dollars

Very Happy

Playing 24o is questionable, but call a raise with it? Do you do this often? Shocked

I imagine he played back only because he had a strong suspicion the button was trying to steal the blinds by raising with an inferior hand himself.

What are you going to do? I mean, the guy is purposefully raising with $hit cards to take your money. Screw that, I've got 40-60 odds against most hands, I'll take my chances.
