Hey Wes, have been reading your op and wondering why you're concentrating on HE when Stud seems to be a game you've run well at and seem to enjoy more.

Just a thought, but if that's true, why don't you concentrate on Stud and either Bonus whore to build your roll or collect RB? Stars is probably not the best place for a Canadian micro-stakes player. You have lots of Bonus options at very juicy Euro-friendly rooms and ante games are ideal for working off bonuses at contributed rake rooms as the ante counts.

Cuz micro stud is a joke. Its bingo basically. Besides the idea is/was to play live at my local casino and all they have is holdem.

Im basically sick of poker again already. I just cant seem to get back in the swing of grinding and i think im better off spending my time doing other things. Maybe ill play once in a while for fun, but i have little interest in grinding and studying.

That it is. But are you good at it? Winning is fun, ofc, and the bonuses will help you get out of micro. I'm dabbling in stud myself the last couple of weeks and we could help each other out if you're interested.

That said, if it's not fun and you have other things you'd rather do with your time, of course pursue those things.

Where you playing Wes? If you ever want to play on FT, I'll stake you whatever you like up to $50 (at least). You can beat this game, and I'll put money behind that.

Anyway, have fun with it, keep us updated, and GLGLGLGL!!

Wes, I learned a lot from you learning a lot about year ago. I would give you the money at 0% - just pay it back like $25 when you get to $125 and another $25 when you're at $225. Just a friendly no-cost stake, if you're interested.

Now, all you trolls searching FTR for the word "stake," this is only for Wes - don't pm me/ask me/beg me - I'll let you know right now anyone else is SOL.

Wes, like I said, I think you have the discipline, knowledge and skill to beat the micros, so I'll put some money behind that assessment. Just pm me when and if you'd like to take me up on it and we'll finalize any details there. Offer available for all of 2009, as needed.

Yeah, I've got a stars account with like $3 on it, and I owe Stacks some money, so I wouldn't mind getting paid back there so I could enter some FTR events and pay off my debt to Stacks.

Got my first coaching session last night and then i proceeded to win like $6 in 109 hands..lol (.10/.20). Prolly a coincidence, but w/e.

We went over thinking through hands and puting people on ranges and what not. Same shit as i leanred to do in holdem, but obv different. Hopefully plugging a couple leaks willl help.
