Lakers snuck one out. Almost made it back to back massive chokes. WTF Phil? Chris Mihm??? Really??? OK, Guess you have 9 rings or whatever but Ronny at least plays with heart AND HAS PLAYED IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS.
Jesus, get in front of somebody and take a charge. Shit, Fisher use to have like 4 of those a game. I would just plant his ass right in the middle of the lane and tell him not to move, because Pierce will be coming through EVERY FUCKING PLAY.
You had a shot Lakers, you take game 4 you might have done it. Now, unless Micheal Cooper suits up and plays Pierce you are done in 6.
Walton, you are a train wreck. Sasha, great intensity on D ( not always great D but you aggravate people and give it 100% ) which is more then I can say for everybody else. Gasol, HIT THE FREAKING WEIGHT ROOM. Never seen a big man with NO power move. If you could dominate the middle a bit Garnett would be in foul trouble every game and we would have open shooters. At least be able to knock down a 10 foot open jumper. THE FREAKING Triangle is designed for that, you pass that shot up because your scared to put it up it throws EVERYTHING off.
Why the hell does Rodmonavich start?? He hits like 3 shots a game and I never see him rebound or anything. Terrible ball handler. He's like the white version of Glen Rice. Great if the defense forgets about you and leaves you standing all alone behind the 3 line. You have a damn pretty shot then, otherwise I have no idea why you are out there.
Odom...I just don't know. I think the match up is tough for you but c'mon. take it to the rim strong. Stop flying out of control and leaning at the basket. Drive and finish, or drive and pull up for the short jumper, but be IN CONTROL. If I have to see you trying to score and looking like a cross between a southern baptist in church and someone who just stepped off a bungee jump at the state fair I'm gonna puke.
I'm keeping the dream alive for a Laker miracle but my guess is Boston wraps it up game 6.
Next year we may be talking about the same 2 teams in the finals. Bynum being back and Gasol is going to make for a nice team. Wish the hell Bynum could be in now, he may have changed alot in this series. Oh well... |

| I swear Rajon Rondo's only move is that hybrid runner/hook sorta thing. It seems like he gets a lot of good looks with it but it's been a little off tonight. |

I think everyone just forgot how good Boston was after the first 2 rounds. They were the favorite to win the championship when the playoffs started, then they were the underdog by time the finals got here.
meh, nba is rigged anyway so who knows. |

I feel good knowing that the Cavs were very clearly the closest team to knocking off the Celtics. 3-0 at home, 0-4 on the road but the games were competitive and the cavs arguably had a couple good chances to steal a game in Boston. The hawks also went 7, but got blown out all 4 road games. The Pistons and Lakers both lost at least one game at home.
I know I'm probably stretching a bit and probably being a little overly optimistic but I don't care. |

Halftime Interview with Kobe and some reporter chick:
Chick: You must feel pretty bad about the five missed free throws thus far.
Kobe: Yup.
Chick: What have you done to get to the free throw line 12 times on your own, when in game 2 the team combined for less?
Kobe: Nothing. We are playing the same. |

yeah, well, the way the series had been going, 20 and 24 point comebacks in the 4th quarter, you just couldnt say for sure the game was over. |

also, sports are so unfair.
major boston sports teams have 6 titles in recent memory.
major cleveland sports teams have 0 titles in 40+ years, have never played in a super bowl, have never won an nba finals *game*, etc.
what a crock of shit |
