I swear there was way more basketball discussion before the playoffs started than there is now, during the finals.

If PP goes down for awhile, its pretty much over. Although he looks okay.

yeah reminds me of a few years ago, when he used to throw it down with authority. i think he is one of the most intimidating players in the nba.

bankitdrew, idk if you were watching, but pierce DID get injured, and he came back and still kicked ass.

qft.

i really dont care who wins this year as long as it goes 7 games, because it def has a chance to be an epic finals. i guess if i had to pick i want boston based soley on the fact that i want KG to finally get a ring.

I watched the whole game, and I'm convinced that Pierce's 'injury' was staged. Not only did he have to be carried off the court, but he also came back and destroyed everyone. Obviously staged. This was all to get the crowd back into the game. The guy should win an Oscar for that performance.

I don't know who to root for, I hate both teams. This should be a great series though.

lol i cant tell if youre being sarcastic or not, but thats retarded. pierce started out the 3rd quarter on fire, and the crowd was getting back into it. so why would you fake an injury and have him miss over half the quarter when hes doing well.

That's the beauty of it all! What cannot be processed as making sense - gets by everyone!

I have another theory regarding Bill Walton's bet against the Lakers (which actually did take place)... but that's for another thread.

I assume its somewhat a joke that this was staged, but the reason he was on the wheelchair was the trainer told him not to walk although he wanted to test his knee. When he tested it it was good enough to go. He was limping badly after the game when the adrenaline wore off.

Anyways, I was so fired up. Go Celts.

Its an injury that might get worse after the fact. PP playing injured would impact the celtics. I thought Kobe played very passive which is odd for him. I have a feeling this is going 7.
