Well, wouldn't you know it, my wife got the poker bug from me and has become a very good player! She's been in the money her last 4 MTTs in a row, all 500-1200 players, with a 3rd and 5th place finish! I consider myself to be an OK player and think she's too conservative, but she has become selectively aggressive and that has made the difference. She also plays SNGs 20-30$ and turns a tidy profit there as well.
She plays under my account as Studboyjoe and springs the fact that she's a girl in the late part of the tourney during Chat, seems to make some of the other players either not take her play seriously or sometimes even let her take a pot here and there (I'm guessing on that one).
Anyone else find themselves creating a poker monster? |

Man I wish my GF would play more like your wife....maybe then she'd stop losing all of my money. She's getting better, that's for sure. But she's still at the point where she's just giving money away to whoever wins. |
