Okay, so I've built my initial $75 up to $150 way ahead of schedule, and plan and dipping my feet in $10NL tomorrow since I have the minimum suggested bankroll for it (although I still wanna play mostly $5NL til i'm comfortable).

Are there any important things I should keep in mind when moving up, other than remembering that these players are going to play marginally-very much better for the most part than what I am used to?

Most important thing is not to play scared. This doesn't necessarily mean don't tighten up (I don't know whether you need to), but it does mean keep making big enough bets; be mentally prepared for losing the equivalent of 2 buyins at £5 in one hand; and don't be tempted to call when you know deep down the +EV move is to raise.

The difference wont be that much.
If you make correct decisions you should still beat the game easily enough

You are about to make the most profitable transition of your poker career... at least this is the way it was for me.

Playing for over a month at $0.01/$0.02 and making $120 felt great, because I had only played play money on score poker for months before but had nothing to show for it. So, one day I dipped my feet in the 10NL games, but promised myself to play the exact same way I did at 5NL. OMG!

5 times the profits in one week. If you are killing the 5NL game, you will kill the 10NL game. It's the same players, at 5 times the BB.

Most important rule of moving up in levels: Don't play scared! like the above poster mentioned, don't be afraid to raise when you are supposed to. Don't slowplay anything. play tight and don't bluff too much.

GL and tell us how u turned out!

Thanks for all the responses guys. I got a chance to play at a couple 10NL tables for about an hour before I had to head out for the weekend (I'm at a skating show in Connecticutt for the weekend) and learned that it really is basically the same as 5NL (some of the tables even had the same players). I ended up making a pretty good profit even in the small amount of time I played (combination of using my reads from 5NL and getting good hands Razz) so I think I've got enough confidence to jump into it full time when I'm back home.

Gotta change my goal to being bankrolled for 25NL by June 1st now Razz

Your sig-goal is get BR for 10NL by june. You can do better than that,

Play 10NL at 19 hand poker (and i think you re alredy Bankrolled).

My plan is 25NL before the end of next month and i promise you I am not vbery mycg futrther than yoiu, Im just not a quick startrted, Im Not a quick started at 10NL but I will be abt 12nL well nefore thje time comesm when you want to be. nd you can too. YUou just need to conecenterasdtwe and just work haredl. It really isnbt difficult. TAG will veat at least 10NL ikn my experinece and it seems tyhe way to go0 wityh 25NL too. HGood ludk and i hope you getr gouig with it but not as fast as i do Very Happy

The play wont be much different, as long as you dont let the occassional bad beat tilt you, then you will do fine.

And pelion, are you drunk?
