| so im talking to my mom wishing her a happy mothers day, and she starts telling me about these kids i know that got expelled from college for smoking/dealing weed or whatever, and she goes,"i just dont know why these kids are doing drugs to get around life," and i just absolutely lose it and start laughing. once i stopped laughing i replied, "well mom what were you doing when you were 20 years old?". then she says, "that is none of your business." so i say so you admit to doing drugs? at this point she says, look i dont want to talk about this anymore. |

| Not wanting to highjack this thread but my mom finds constantly spots to make me really uncomfortable. I called her last night to wish Happy Mothersday and for about 5 minutes straight she told me that she suffers from a really heavy period at the moment and that she cannot sit down because the blood would stain her dresses and how she has put together two sanitary pads in order to manage the hour at church in the morning. I was sitting completely stoned by the phone not knowing what to say. I should have found the heart to tell her that I don't want to hear these kind of things. |

Nah I'm 35 and my mom is 52. She had me quite young but that still doesn't give her the right to gross me out.
Another great story about her. When I flew back home to introduce my first wife to my family she ran around the house, when we got back with my father from the airport, only with a bra and her knickers on with a sanitary pad clearly visible and pubic hair sticking out everywhere. When I told her that her look might be a little bit inappropriate she put on a T-Shirt. |
