Tomorrow, no more university!
So im going sort-of 'pro' i guess until i get a job or something, so this is my progress thread. Prob be a good laugh to see how i do.
Current BR.
($750 pending Martins 15/5/06)
($775 pending WASA 1/6/06?)
$775 on wasa at mo, $550 in neteller, $300 from Prima (perhaps lost lol)
$920 disposable funds probably just to be added to bankroll.
Total $2545 ($4070 when bonuses clear)
Target1 $5k to play 5/10 lhe 6max on party. (complete by June31st)
Target2 $10k to play 10/20 lhe 6max on party. (complete by July 31st)
Semi target1 $3k on Prima to play upto 5/10 6max (1or2 tables only) due to quality of games and mtts. (any time this br might reach more than 5k id just pull money out and put into party, thus max br here is 5k)
Semi target2 $2.2k on stars to play 20+2 180 man SNGS on br only.
Semi target3 Use $550 in neteller to bwn TAF bonuses on B2B worth $1.1k plus possibility of additional $1.1k on another deal on that site, plus $11k on that network from bonuses if i so choose.
Total target $15.5k by july 31st if possible but acceptable target $10.2k by same date to set up seperate rolls and play 5/10 on party.
Two caveats: I dont want to play higher than 5/10 on Prima if i make a br there, and the mtts have been good to me and are soft so i want to play there regardless, but play ring games on party. Im not mentally ready for higher than 10/20 yet either. I may consider a move to 400nl should i reach $10k anyway but for the moment i want to play lhe. Ill probably do the B2B tafs first so ill be adding about $2.5k to the br in mid/early june which should mean my first target of 5/10 should be acheivable by then, if not the 10k target.
K ill post regular updates and stuff.
gl me. |

| I'd get a job until you can sustain yourself more permanently with a higher bankroll and play at higher stakes. |

don't set a goal for br.
If you do set a goal for BR (such as 10k ), you might go on a crap stretch of cards (for perhaps 6k hands ), whenever you get close to your goal (perhaps 8k ).

GL man.
Only advice, don't set BR, goals. Just set a goal to make the right decision for your bankroll in every instance. |

Gl Miffy. I agree with BR goals.. with regards to moving up: apart from my BR Im focusing more on moving up when I feel ready and confident enough. Ive just reached the 100s and will be happy to stay there building my roll to whatever size up untill i feel ready to move.
You'll probably find it extremely hard to get 35+ hrs in per week and if you do then by the 4th week youll porbably be sick of poker and feel the need for a 4-7 day break.
I get the impression you may play certain games based on what roll is currently in *that* site. I belive your poker br should consist of every $ you have thru all the sites + neteller + any live roll. |

To be honest i can normally beat lhe games at 2/4 to 5/10 pretty well. However im going to struggle at the mo getting 3-5k into one site. So i guess i am playing alittle below what i can. However, ive found becasue i play plo/lhe/nlhe all to medium stakes standards so long as i have an adequate br of say 1-2k on a site i can sit wherever the best games are.
Muy ultimat goal however is still to get 5k together first for 5/10 on party then move upto 10k for 10/10 THEN split up for other rolls.
btw, 2k hands on pokkeroom tonight.
Play 100hands at 25nl, took a stack lost a stack. Gay etc
Played some 2/4 5max and broke 30bets so +$60.
WIll be playing extensivly on B2B 2morrow. |

friday sucked
eventually only down 30euro's chasing bonuses again and down about $100 on pr chasing another short Bonus. That should clear midweek on my current schedule but the B2B may take till middle of net week.
Then im split between Tafs and finding a site to play at for a half week. May move to Prima to clear a $200 Bonus there. DOnt know yet... |

If I were you Id find one or two sites with games you really like and can play well there.. for me I look for alot of table selection, loose tables and big average pots, then try and look for somewhere with this criteria that also has a Bonus going, if not Rakeback at least.
I will not play at B2B cos I either have to play tighter than a nats arse at 10/3 or something and break even and earn a Bonus.. or play uber laggy which im not comfy to try.
For me my new home is now PR, all the skins mean its almost a bottemless 10x, if not then a 15x. And the games there are juicy Ill also play at party when they have a Bonus going. ...But im yet to try FullTilt, PokerStars or Paradise or UB or AB, but these places are pretty lame for whoreing anyway -maybe ill check them out when have nowhere else to whore.
Basically what Im getting at is site and game selection is very important and dont get too wrapped up in whoreing.
PS I hear WillHill is quite a juicy site and has a nice £5 per hr for 5 hrs deal going (only at 100nl+) (and rb after that thru an affliliate) I still need to check that place out. |

Why does it have to be one extreme or another? I have no problems beating those games playing an ordinary 21/9 6-max game. |

| Good point. I dont know. Im just uncomfortable at B2B, not enough loose players there wanting to gamble their stack with TPTK or 2P. |

lolololololool
with 50k i could be playing 50/100 hu
but sure, by the time you turn up ill prob have some solid br together
Sinkrox, yeah for the minute im taking the free cash from B2B. At 5k ill move to party and play exclusivly there and maybe will take enough to continue whoring B2B. There would appear to be $11k there over the long run, so ill boost the br with extras. Ill prob consider PokerRoom again when (or if )i play 10/20 as they have good rb offers there for higher limit players i think. Other prob is i need to upgrade my crappy laptop as i can only effectivly 2 or 3 table PokerRoom at the mo which is killing me. |

I'm assuming 25NL is a no-no.
also...no 6 max = ( |

Yo don't be stupid, most good players advocate at least 10 buyins for that.
I'm serious by the way, I sense a mid June wager coming on...?? |
