im pretty sure he has tp, not a draw, but having a draw is something id factor in.
When i check behind i know he will bet tp, and must bet a missed draw. Hence, i think i can raise him on the river and because he isnt great he will call with tp a lot, which is what i want. By giving him a chance to suck out i also give him a chance to make a bigger error.
The same thinking goes to playing a set.
Example:
MP decent player raises i call on button with pp.
I flop a set on 2 flush board.
Opp bets (assume hes TAGGY not really tricky) i call.
On turn most over pairs tp's will bet here again, so i call.
ELSE, if he checks for pot control, then i check behind (fairly solid read required)
then if river blanks for the flush, opp bets and we can push (looking bluffy) or else opp checks and we push (loking bluffy again) and hope that by losing value but possibly allowing a suckout, we get opp to make a horrible mistake and not just a small/medium sized one.
Obviously, if you play super nit at 100nl this wont work as you dont bluff, but if you are capable of a bluff or are super aggro (or playing against donks who have made a stack) then its certainly worth the effort.
Its just another line to get expected hands to make bigger mistake than normal. |

im averaging 2-3 hrs per day plying time, so while i may only 2table on PokerRoom because i dont adapt to 5max very well normally and PokerRoom runs so slow on my machine.
So if im playing Prima, where i may move back to next, and im 5 tabling on software i like i can turn out 20-25k hands per month and not just 10k. |

Well anyway, 6k hands it not a sample size so whatever.
My stats are actually quite passive, and as a general rule arent very good for what i should be aiming for.
However, they are just about right IMO considering the tables and game im playing in.
I dont just sit at any 100nl 5max table thats open, im looking to sit behind shortys. Therefore when they limp i take cheap flops with hands ahead of their range capable of making monsters and raise them to death with hands like KTs as well as AK/AQ etc.
Also, these games are super passive anyway, so no need to raise up pps preflop, although im 99+ regardless, even though 99 and KK are losers currently (lol sample size)
Fwiw, this is 6.6k hands played in 60hours (im only two tabling as my computer hates PokerRoom)
When i get back to Prima etc (or fork our for repairs on my comp) ill up my hands/hour.
I think im gona post all the hands where i lost a stack tosee how many are actually having the worst hand and how many are just dumb plays (im guessing all are the second) |

JEEZ!!
24 PTBB/100
17 PTBB/100
I know its a small sample my but MY GOD!!
coach me please?
FWIW, I had been getting raped at $100 6 max after a hot start. I went to the basics ($25) to start over and learn to play 6 max, and I am running 16 PTBB/100 over about 6500 hands.....good stuff.....
Keep up the good work! |

200nl shots baby.
Br $3190.
Got annoyed when some guy played two pair really passive on the turn and rivered me (obviously i c/r'ed all in with the second nut straight and got owned but whatever) so decided to sit at 200nl.
+$132 after 100 hands (lol sample size) so i nearly have my tower $200 Bonus and will think about what im going to do next.
I guess i set a 30k hand operation which i will complete, and i think if i rejig it when i hit 4k so that when i get to $8k and are ready for 400nl shots ill add my 18k roll back so that i can get stuck into 400nl and 600nl again.
Also, wtf? As soon as i sat at 200nl i reverted straight back to 30/20 lhe stats. i mean, am i a bot or something? Thats far too loose versus fish |

| Speaking of getting annoyed at passiveness, do you ever find yourself frustrated at people that limp behind you with AK, then just call your top pair down at the river? You know they are making a huge mistake, but you think to yourself, "YOU CAN RAISE AK FUCKTARD!!!! That seems to get me offkilter. How do you deal with it? |

i see quite a few people limping big hands and then just call call calling down to the river. Yeah sure, i definitly post a 'lol' in chat and laugh at how bad some people can play but thats about it. As far as im concerned, they loose lots and lots of value versus my potential calling range and then best of all, when i actually have then totally owned, they still stack off anyway. So the amount of time i raise with KQ, get called to the river and they flip AA, i laugh at how many times they stack off with AA on KQx when i make a button raise with KQ.
The one thing i make sure of however, is that i dont play with super nit/passives much anymore and when i do i take unconvential ranges to them so that when i flop, i flop hard versus their range. And obviously, becuase im quite aggro, they take one pair to the river in semi-big spots/pots which is a big mistake. |

BR $3815.
I run sickly goot. have moved to party to do the reload, got $15 for free (no idea why, maybe party like me at last?) and will soon clear the $100.
Im thinking about staying at party for a bit as i havent tried the 200nl games, but im not a fan of party to be frank.
Anyway, thought id post some utterly standard hands and a few others.
Hand1.
Didnt know what opp had preflop, guessing a pp etc, but i check flop to encourage two streets of calling, hence the river ~pot bet which i know is getting called if he found a paor on this board.
Normally i dont check this flop because i like to steal this with AK a lot.

Same idea here. Im not a fan of potting the river a lot, but when your hand is semi hidden or you take non-standard lines versus people who want to show you pairs, then definitly do as ISF says and pot rivers.
This hand would be really interesting if opp pots river into me or c/r's all in as JT looks horrible against that line...

So i renamed my thread! Yey
next target is the standard 8k to play 400nl (ill add my br back at that point but for the mo it stays inactive)
My (huge) datdabase of 25k hands, with a 17k downswing shows im winning at 5bbs/100 so for the mo i dont think its too bad to expect to beat 200nl for that rate over the next period.
therfore, expecting to make $10 per 100 hands and needing 4k to meet my goal i estimate ill need to play 40k hands to make $8k.
Currently, im getting in about 15hours per week, and for most of the op ill be 4tabling various sites so if im getting in 300~ hands per hour im expecting it take 130~hrs of play which is approx 10weeks.
So, my goal is that i will have an 8k bankroll by June 30th, having run 5bbs/100 @200nl for 40k hands.
I think ill be showing just how good games still are for non-US players around the web. Im probably going to bank all rb and bonuses as i need to buy my missus a b'day prezzie and im expecting to do some travelling etc over the next few weeks/months while i try to find a graduate position/managerial position within the company i work for.
GL me. |

| Heh - I played against Sidis, kussimurran and Adamkosh today - I agree with you about Sidis - typically over-aggressive, should be fairly easy to manipulate when you're playing your a-game. Adamkosh was good - 21/16/5, so I just avoided him. Kussimurran just seemed kinda tight/weak. |

kussimurran is a sterotypical weak/tight i agree, if he raised more he'd get himself to 400nl in no time because he didnt spew at all in 1k hands with me.
Sidis is 2p2 and said i ran good, i just told him he played bad +600 from him. Hes also 12 tabling and spews horribly. i found a post by him where he flopped a flush draw and raised my lead after i raised from the sb HU and i just pushed. Reminds me of my own play before i moved upto 200nl originally.
didnt notice adamkosh, so he prob isnt that good. I dont have him here but some guy baiterz or something is good, constant 3bbs raises, but hasnt figured out how to play against an aggro button like me yet. |

moved to dise to clear $150 Bonus.
meh i sucked. No HHs but -580 or so.
Called a push in a minreraised pot with bottom pair, he ahd aces ( i seriously didnt think he did) -200.
two limpers to my blind, i make it $14 with red kings, donk stack calls as oes a.n.other. Flop is jack hig htwo spades, i pot it 50bbs pushes a.n.other folds. he sucks out flush. -100
Hu in blinds, donk limsp in. I flop mid pair and a gutshot. He checks i bet he minreraises i make it 1/3rd of his stack. He calls.
Turn gives me two pair facing a one straight like 2356 he pushes i call, he shows me a gutshot -200 (i cry)
then various other making 2nd best hands.
to be honest these games are the same old dise 5max games. The donks get going quickly and i run bad. Meh, itll turn round. |

BR$3634.
$20 left of the $150 Bonus but im just fed up of beats on dise so im going to Prima.
*sigh* 4 times today i got fish to get 70% of their stacks in for them to find a river draw and im left calling like $30 into a $400 pot certain my tp no good.
Other than that i should be up like close to 1k but im not im down 2.5buyins.
These games are so good, its just ridiculous the amout of bad beats that come up form people making the most senseless calls. I really havent seen play as bad as i did at 200nl @repeat 200nl@ (it was like 25nl used to be on party)
If i had run anywhere near not bad id have walked away with lots, as it is $120 Bonus cleared, -$350 so must be running like -5.5bbs.
My game really really does not suit those dise games at the moment, but then i dont think it really ever has as ive never done that well there.
Forgot to say, i played some 5/10 5max and walked away with $250 but there were two donators who were just playing every single hand, and obviously i found KK/AA a couple of times.
Also played a $25 fo and managed to get it all in preflop with AQs versus T9o and AJo Of course i didnt win that either so gg me. |

wow just wow
Br $2589
Tonight on Prima, i got raped at 200nl and 100nl.
I got it all in with AA on two flops, and got flushed twice after players had made spewy bluffs into me. -400
I broke QQ hu in the blinds when i flopped two pair and open pushed. +200
The same (stupid dumbass chinese donk) then sucked out a pair on the river after i put him all in with AK when he had a bare flush draw. -330
Stacked some mug who could fold top two on a straight board +200.
floped a set of jacks on KJTall spades, three way all in so i couldnt fold. I didnt suck out versus TWO flopped nut straights. -120
lost multiple pots on river facing open pushes when draws hit -160.
All in with AAA on A34two hearts, he runner runners quads with TT -400.
Down 1k tonight.
Tomorrow, i will go back to 100nl and camp. Then i will take my $200 Bonus and ask Prima to turn my doomswitch off.
Id post some hands but its honestly just badbeats, apart from that one dumbass chinese player who, pardon my french, fucking pissed me the fuck off, who sucked out and thought he was good.
I tilted once so i called it a day, but i thought i played well consdiering i lost 3buyins at 200nl and 4 at 100nl.
Man, i really feel so fucking awful right now. Prima is just killing me in big pots.
Oh yeah, on Prima over 30k hands, AA has a %win of 62.5. The amount of people who flopped sets on me tonight was just sick. |

did some ninja work tonight.
Some n00b called a push at 400nl with KQ after minraising my blind, i had ATo. PAY ME SKLANSKY!!!!!
AA all in preflop at 200nl wins, and won another $20 pot.
QQ all in 4 ways after UTG raised to $16 at 400nl and others called too, but UTG sucked out a flush with AQ.
Damn that would have been awesome to hold, $361 pot
Cashed out of Prima as Bonus isnt going to be given to me, so ill be off maybe to PokerTime or betfair depending on what i fancy next. |

| ive a question. since you play FR mostly and dont play on US allowed sites, do you ever get frustrated that there arent many GREAT games at 200NL FR. most site have only 2-4 200NL games going on at peak. |

Miffed is my real Prima SN!!!!!!!
Id probably change it once i became a 5/10nl regular as this is the game where i took most of my shots.
DAGoat, sort semi-tough question.
When i play PokerRoom or PokerChamps/betfair, nealry all 200nl games are good. They still only play like 100nl.
Sure they are NO WHERE NEAR the toughness of 200nl on stars which is miles and miles away from this level.
Prima 200nl is now a tougher game because all the 100nl nits moved up recently, whereas it used to be soft at 200nl.
Dise's 200nl games were cool, boss media games are still very beatable despite the lack of games.
I-poker/tribeca still has some good games, but you have to work hard to find them. In terms of table selection its probably best, but certainly has some very good regs.
In reality, im upgrading my comp and everything (after it all broked ) so when ive done that im likely to go back to 3bodog tables 5boss media and some from another selection.
I think its fair to say players like yourself and me would be able to build 20-50k rolls within the next 12months (me again lol) but if we were to sit in 600nl and 5/10nl games on stars despite our development, we would still be behind the learning curve of the players in those games for sure. So when i can get 5 tablesof 200nl up on boss, i dont argue i can ONLY get 5, im glad their boss games |

BR $2582.
Cant see where my math has gone wrong but anyway!
so far into month 2 i am +151 doing some shorty work.
I need to take $400 out ASAP for my g/fs bday (br is elsewhere at mo) and also i want to pay $500 for a monitor but ive decided i wont pay for that until i hit $5k.
I think im going to move to Mansion for the next couple of weeks. $1k sign up Bonus where ill start 3-6 tabling 100nl fr (depends what tables are available) and ill short stack 200nl just for the points. Im sure ill bang $100 through the slots for $5 Bonus every couple of hours. lol? |

lol 4th post.
$1.5 per hour clearence at 100nl
$2.5 per hour clearence at 200nl.
Assume 2bbs/100 winrate (i always like to be moderate in winnings )
7 tabling (3x100nl+4x200nl) for 10hrs per week+Bonus=
$10.5+$26x20= $350~ per week.
so should hit $4k by 18th Mayish or at least by the end of the month. |

im trying to get a new job or promoted.
Seems they need a team leader where i work, they just havent figured it out yet.
Saying that i me and g/f pull in $50k~ so we dont horribly but considering i should earn that alone just says i can find a decent job at the mo, although Ladbrokes are serious about taking me to their head office for some team work/selection stuff and ive had to declare to them i use their software etc.
Meh, so long as i get an assistant manager/managerial position by sept ill be ok, preferably after June when my g/f gets a $500 referral, but meh, a $6k (50% payrise) if i take new job would than make up for that (means i could buy a house and get all my shit fixed.
*sigh* if i hadnt downswung 20ks id have a house, car and all teh shit right now and still be playing 400nl/600nl. |

ive only been able to see it between 7pm and 2am GMT this week, but there are normally about 5 100nl fr and 5 200nl fr tables going all at once so you can 10table.
coupld of half decent regs, couple want to be good but suck, rest are pretty fishy and easily beatable. |
