Hey guys. Ive got a question for you anyone who knows their casinos. My buddy is turning 18 in late August, which is the legal gambling age in Ontario, Canada. He wants to get some people together for his birthday and hit up a casino. Im going to tag along.
We live about 2 hours from Niagra falls (driving), by greyhound. We don't really know anyone who is down from driving, because we are gonna obv be hammed most of the time we are there. He wants to make it worth his while, and stay overnight for one or two nights. Well, thats actually me saying that, I figure if we are going to travel we might as well make it worth our while.
Anyways, I referenced Niagra falls since its the closest border point to us. We cant gamble there on the Canadian side, because the dirnking age is 19, and all the casinos serve drinks. Same with the US side.
I know the turning stone is a viable option. However, I have a few questions.
1) is there any transport from niagra falls to the stone?
2) its 18 to gamble there, right? We are going to be playing cards. I heard the casino was dry, and the gambling age in NY is 18, so all sohuld work.
3) is it a good place to play? how are accomodations.
Im not 100% fixated on going to the stone. I just figured it was the closest. But also, if there is a casino we can gamble in that is farther away, we wouldnt mind sitting on a bus a while longer.
Nobody is really down for driving, btw, but if it comes down to it we could probably find someone. |

3. awesome, they give poker player rates for rooms. Free drink of anything. Don't ID at all even though they are 18 to play. |

Thanks ISF. I was wonder how accessible it was to get to. Heading east from the falls, i understand its like on (or near) a major interstate (i duno which, i just looked at a map really quickly).
I was wondering if anyone knew if a transportation service ran to there. Greyhound, or something like it.
Pretty much wanna get mine, and others asses to this place. |
