CR: sucks. handful of great players, but they aint that great at making vids. the one that is great is cts, and he still isnt the best.
DC: great, but not infallible. some of the vids arent really that good, but some are great. fslexcduck is probably the best coach on the site. ive tried to watch krantz and whitelime but just cant get into it. i can imagine those guys being amazing coaches, but there's a little lacking in the vids. i say a little because there's still a ton of great info in them. i think a problem is it seems they dont explain the little details, only bigger things. some of us need little details as well. a thing about DC that other sites dont have is that they cover certain topics and formats well. like spenda i believe was saying earlier, the joint series from duck and sensei is aaaaaaaawesome.
LP: best and its not even close to close. aejones is probably the best vid maker on the planet. he loves to talk and explain shit and is sick good. bobbofitos is number two. he also loves to talk and explain shit and has a super good theoretical understanding. i dont like saying hes any worse than aejones tho so i guess ill retract that. i guess my issue is that it may be a wee bit easier to learn from jones than from fitos, even though its not hard from fitos. seabeast is mega sick too. the guy 3bets like every other hand and shoves every other 3bet pot, and he thinks 2/4 is ridiculously soft.
the thing about LP is that they have a higher standard than all other sites. every single producer is fervently enthusiastic and informative about their explanations. they try to keep dead space away, and illustrate their thought process in every situation in every way.
stoxpoker: have not seen them, but want to because leatherass is the greatest poker player who has ever lived and again its not even close to close
oh and when the fuck is g-p vid coming? i been waitin and waitin
also sauce signing with lp would be sicknesssss. see this is what i need to do. i need to get sick good, like so good that i sit at 10knl all day and dominate takers because then i could make my own training site and since i can be more thorough in my explanations than anybody who has ever lived i would make cajillions |
Leggo is the only site I have subscribed to and I love it!
Wuf pretty much summed it all up but I am going to add that Ben Straate's videos are really good as well. They really try hard to be the best and you really get that through the blogs and the forum's etc.. I can't imagine how sick its going to be when they are all back from vegas and have more time to dedicate to the site. |

Guys,
Are any of these training sites good in terms of FR?
For example LP only has 3 videos as far as I see?
Thanks! |

dont worry about fullring. sixmax applies to fullring very well. just adjust for pots involving the first three positions (which are relatively rare).
also, you can get better at fullring by getting better at hu, but not really the other way around.
on a side note: DC is best for fullring. bottomset is on there and hes made the best fr vids ive seen. |

Thanks for the info mate!
I'll have a look at DC within a couple of weeks.
I know by playing HU/6max I would get better at FR and I'm trying to play 6max once in a while. |
