i'm headed to LA for a few days in jan(1-6) and wanted to know where some good mexican food can be found. any ideas? open to street vendors and sit down places, not looking for ambience just great food
are the poker rooms in LA busy during the day on weekdays? |

| burbank...corner of san fernando ave (south) and verdugo (east) is a place where they have the best mexican evar!!! i think its called something like piperopous....i cant remember how they spelled it....but its a little white shack...looks real dirty...but good food...dont know the grade the got...prolly a c-..... |

i'll call my buddy and find out where theres another place that has hand made tortillas....as soon as you walk in this place you see a chick makin em at a fireplace.....im pretty sure its in culver city...i'll let you know one way or another if he knows the name....

dinner at el huaraches azteca--huaraches are the best vehicle for mexican food--masa(tamale dough) cooked on a griddle

the burger comes decorated one way--arugula, onions agro dolce, gruyere--doesn't matter because they don't give you a choice--don't ask for ketchup
well i did have a choice of temp-med rare for me
the sweet pot fries are the best fries i have ever had--perfect in every way--crunchy outside tender inside with out being mealy
