i think this was well played. 3-betting the flop wouldn't be so good because 2 of your 8 outs are tainted.
UTG was probably trying to ram and jam for his flush draw, explaining the sudden weakness on the river.
MP2's bet on the river seems like a desperate attempt to bluff and take the pot down. |
