$1/$2 game against crazy Russians...Villain is a huge whale running in god mode...He's called 20xBB reraises preflop with JTs (and won
), in another hand called a huge flop bet on a JTT board with 76s and hit runner-runner for a flush...won a huge pot by caling $25 preflop with 65o, flopping the nuts and cold-decking the guy who turned top set...you get the idea

There's a $5 straddle, villain calls, 2 others call, I raise to $25 on the button with KhKd. all fold except villain.

Flop is AA5, 2 hearts...Of note: cutoff pretty much announces that he would have flopped a boat but he folded to my raise.

Villain leads into me with $20....I call....turn is 6h...he bets $40, I called...river is 2h for nut flush on a paired board...he bets $50.

am i doing anything other than calling each street?

You didn't say how deep you were - but that's a fairly small raise pre.
Without any more information, I think calling down is fine.
Have you seen him donk before? - With that sizing I suspect it's either a blockbet with a draw or a small pair. It also depends if he has a tendency to hero call a lot - raising KK on that flop is kind of fancy - you represent an ace and hope to get him to bluffcatch with some pair or shovel a draw.
If you only have 150 or so left on the river, I'd shove.
I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up with 44, 55-QQ here

I started the hand with around $360 and villain had about $600.

standard open raises at the table ranged from $7-$15...raises over limpers were generally $20-$25...3-bets were in the $40-$50 range.

i had not seen him donk but mostly he was fishing...catching on the river. he hadn't shown any hands where he flopped a monster and donked into a raiser.

I ended up minraising and gave a little speech....i thought it was a mistake immediately as i put A-little squarely in his range....

It was a good night, which shows you how wacky it was when you lose a $400 pot in a $1-$2 game with the nut flush and come out way ahead.
