The supermarket, it seems, is the best place to pick up chicks. They are not travelling in packs there, they are usually defenseless, or with useless guards, such as sisters/brothers and or pa & ma.

Now, it is quite argueable if pa or ma are really defenseless, but in my experience, they are nowhere near as -EV for us hunters than their fellow females.

In my travels to this concrete-with-carts jungle, last week, I again confirmed my theory.

I went to the bakery department in a supermarket to ask for a special kind of bread, which they usually hold in stock. I couldn't find any, so I looked for somebody who worked there to ask for the bread. It was 10AM or so, and this specific supermarket is quite far amway from where i live, so I haven't been here in ages.

So I look for an attendant and I can't find any. I look and look around, and then I see some chick (who works there, {acronym Renton hates}) stacking the bread stand. I ask her, "excuse me, you got casino loaf in this stack"?

She turns around and smiles. She only did that. Just a smile.
It was kinda like the most beautiful and fucking hypnotizing smile I've ever seen, and I've seen many. So beautiful, genuine, innocent and naughty, so many adjectives rolled together in one smile.

I'm usually composed, but there was a certain something very special about that girl. She was slender, had nice tits and what I first noticed, a genunely sizeable ass. I noticed how she actually looked afterwards, for some reason.

It gave me such an enormous hard-on, and I was wearing basketball shorts. It looked like I had a cucumber in my pants. A simple smile got me in such an embarassing situation. And the cucumber seemed to have adopted a mind all its own.

So there I was left standing, as she cheerfully stroddled away looking for a casino loaf for me. I had a truly hard time, pun intended, trying to disimulate the fucking bulge in my pants. I'm usually composed, but there was a certain something very special about that girl. She was slender, had nice tits and what I first noticed, a genunely sizeable ass. I suddenly felt like a rush, and urge, a pang, to grab her and push her into the closest shelf and do her in a million ways

She came back with the requested bread, and I was struggling even more now trying to hide the fucking cucumber from view, in a supermarket, with a decent crowd. I took the bread from her and immediately tried to hold it in front of me obv and asked her "do you know you have an angel's smile? do you always smile like that?"
she giggled, and answered "no"

here you go!

and about that prop bet, its go, but gimme a chance to finish my curent design contract, probably like 20 days to a month.

we have to make it something meaningful and tough to accomplish though, like [idea] a race to $20K or so($100 to the winner and the loser shall refer to the winner as "the awesomest" for a month) [/idea] with rules and stuff.

i still got a main event and aussie millions prop bet going on with bjsaust, but i see the ME one pretty dark, but a better chance for '09 aussie millions

Ok guys,

for bjsaust

A san miguel for ATOTHEC01

Sadly, I don't think we ever had roofie collada's in stock, so I poured some other liquor for rilla. A nice Bellevue Kriek

and for bigred (you get a king size glass. you are not the designated driver, are you?)

XTR1K, the chick looks a lot like this one (in red)
a bit taller though, and no accent

Lets toast to that!

Life is sweet indeed. Sometimes, we should stop in our tracks and smell the roses.

Yeah, I used to have real issues too with girls who were too beatiful in my opinion. But then, I got a pretty big band of girfriends (actually, friends who happened to be girls), and well, suffice to say I'm not that shy anymore.
I handle myself much more easily in front of nice girls now, and girls, apparently, are quite attracted to confidence.

I'm setting aside a one day a week in which I'll play nothing but tourneys. I'll set it to be about 5 - 8 tourney's, 2 to 3 tables, on various sites. This day will probably be Sunday.
I have a love/hate relationship with SNG's, which I now consider very fucking robotic (despite having made the majority of my first roll, as in pre rl shit, playing $5's, $10's, and occasional $20's.) I can't care less about them now, but in trying to regaain proper play, I'll make a commitment to play at least 1 (one) per week.
Yup, just 1.
Other days have been assigned to cash already.

I'm honing my C-game atm, which i'd say is playing tired and unfocused. I want to stop bleeding the way I do when I play like this. Yes, its counterproductive to play like this, but its all part of my prolonged training and preparation to properly pwn without making crucial mistakes.
How? By playing in this state of mind at limits I can afford to spew carelessly at, which I consider currently to be 10NL.

I have to double up to reach daven around approx. 5K, so we can make a proper prop bet about who will reach 25K first (since, apparently, our immediate goal is the same, which is "Sticking it to The Man and his 9 to 5s". This is easier at 400NL+, but you can do it playing 200NL overrolled as well.)
I still have some work left to do, so I cannot really *start engines and roll* like I want to do. I have problems in concentrating hard on more than one thing at the time. But I love to multitask, but if I have to concentrate to do well, I prefer to put all efforts into a single instance.

Even so, Daven, get prepared Wink

No pokahs for me, I've been too busy entertaining all my current bosses and current girlfriends (and losing my phone, and missing deadlines, and gettin yelled at for no reason, and formatting my pc, etc).

1600th post!
Shot time. Careful, it's considered fuel Wink

During the timespan between the 1st post here, and this 1600th post, I have seen myself mature from an innocent and naïve kid who thought that straight beats flush, once he actually learned wtf a flush was to a mofo bastard that stacks people for fun.
During my "previous run" or "roll" if you wish, I reached great heights. I saw myself as the next up-and-coming god of poker, huds were for pussies, I bluffed and semibluffed left and right. I had to wthdraw all of my previous roll to pay, obviously, for some very unforeseen and foreseen real life shit. I am thankful of having that money, pretty significant for me at that time (even though, today I see on Full Tilt the Rail Heaven table throwing around with my whole previous roll in 10 big bets, sigh)
I decided to rebuild my game from the ground up, taking care of every leak before its ingrained into me when I become a bigshot, and the errors will be more costly then.
You have to think about my game like some kind of nebula: full of cosmic matter, but still in essence shapeless and worthless. I just spend such a long time setting shape and essence into it, and the Jack Galaxy is almost ready.
Today, I still think HUDs are for pussies, and I am made of iron now. Humble and not proud, and still not totally fearless, but strong and tougher, I should probably change my forum name to Tony Starks. I steal orphan pots. I value bet thin. I assign ranges and act upon reads. I understand timely aggression. I understand board texture. I understand position. I now "know" when to bluff. I have developed an uncanny "feel" for the game. I know who I am up against, at all times. I am tighter than before, more aggressive in the right spots than before, not ever getting out of line, but only optimal.
I am not playing "Tight, Aggressive Poker" , but rather "pure poker". I see shit now. I don't go after stats, I'm not a baseball player. I don't give a shit about my RBI, Strike Out, and Left on Base percentage. I read souls.
The one leak I have right now, is that I am still not totally fearless. So when my soulreading fails, i am sorely out of luck. I am working hard on this.
And I am not a 1-trick pony. I do omaha/ omaha8, stud, razz, horse even, limit, no limit, pot limit whatever. Just not NLO/NLO8: that's not a game, that's trappers Paradise. Good luck to anybody foolish enough to play that. And no 5CD Draw cuz I'm not a cowboy.

I have three beautiful women in my life right now that care for me (they don't know about each others existence, but whatever). I had a lot of friends, but my friend count seemed to have dwindled these days, traitors have revealed themselves and true ones have also revealed themselves. I have gotten enough of the style of music I like (lounge, lo-fi, house, bossa) , to last me 3 to 4 lifetimes. I have not gotten onto MSN for the past 2 or 3 months at least.

Right, now, on to my leaks. One of these is my tourney game during mid-game in large tourneys. I suck bigtime here. My early game is pretty much perfect, since I pretty much always reach the first break. However, afterwards, I suck bigtime.
I have been playing at least 2 small-buyin tourneys daily to remedy this. It seems like I have to increase my "gamble".
I don't want to win donkaments by getting lucky, rather, I want to now exactly wtf I am doing and start recognizing the donkament stages better.
Also, I'm tougher, but not fearless enough.
I still do not want to move up. I want to destroy 25NL for a massive winrate first. I am technically rolled for like 50NL, and maybe even a thin 100NL. The plan is to move up to 50NL when I have 160 buyins (I can't remember the math I made to come up with this, but generally its for confidence) for it, then I'd have no excuse to play 25NL anymore. Conservative, yes, I know. If I can somehow start averaging $100 daily profit (as in $100 for my pocket, the rest for the bankroll), I'll start living off this shit and live like a king. I think this will happen around 400NL at least.
But I'm not taking shots till I'm ready. Its very, very soon though.
My final table skills are pretty sharp as well, coming from a SNG background. However, since concentrating on cash I have done poorly to cash in SNG's for some reason.

Cliff's Notes: PWN cash, Suck @ Donkaments

$8000 to play 5onl, wow, that's even nittier than I...

as for $100 daily profit - right now playing fullring 100nl I'm getting $10-$15/hr Rakeback, if I beat games for 2BB/100 that will crank it up to $50-$60/hr.
Get a HuD and grind, $100 daily is gonna come way before 400NL...

try a can of V, 5 shots of Pisco, a decent splash of sav blanc and a drop of ginger ale - shaken with ice. It's a guaranteed pussy drink.

See ya at 400nl next year sometime, and on a final table sooner (I'm going to start playing some MTTs again)

fuck $4,40-180 and the $11-180. That is all.

I want to swear them off and play just cash, but I know I can't. I'm weak.

Fuck it. Conquer cash, then play $20+ big field tourneys only when I can afford them without blinking, no more than 5 in any given week. That's the new direction. maybe the 360's...

And another thing: the next time I see the word "standard", I'm gonna puke.

all right, soul reader. here's my request in clues...

give it to me straight. light it on fire and back it with a draft. some say it tastes like Dr. Pepper. i say, just slide it down to my end of the bar.

special request/easy riddle. but, can you read my soul, bartender?

oh, and when you slide it down here. i'll raise it in the air and toast to..."all 3 ladies never discovering each other."

you remind me of Sam "Mayday" Malone from the US sitcom Cheers.

3/4 shot amaretto almond liqueur
1/4 oz 151 proof rum
1/2 glass beer

1. Fill a shot glass about 3/4 full with amaretto and top it off with enough 151 proof rum to be able to burn.

2. Place the shot glass in another glass and fill the outer glass with beer (right up to the level of the shot glass).

3. Ignite the amaretto/151 and let it burn for a while. Blow it out (or leave it burning if you're brave - not recommended) and slam it. Tastes just like Dr. Pepper.

BOOM!!!!! Wink

And I'm up for Vegas '09, I'm working hard at this, we gotta get that roll to at least 20K or so, once we are around 20K, making money becomes more fun...

About the plane ticket:

MIA-VA > $400 est.
MIA-LV > $400 est.

LOL tnx

lets just say I got a good eye for talent Wink

I always liked chicks pics, when I was a kid (8 years old or something ike that) I used to draw up chicks I've seen in magazines and whatnot from memory. Oddly enough, it was always beautiful women. Never men, never superheros, no houses, rainbows, animals, and other kinds of shit. Only chicks.
I always wanted to be someone big in the model photography business [think: Playboy, fhm, smooth etc.], or in the designer clothes business. I have not had the opportunity to pursue this, so instead I got real good in photo editing.

I'm setting up a design business, as in graphic design (well, its something) (also, I plan to, at some point, to support myself playing only pokah. but we have to get there first) along with a friend of mine currently. It offers a lot of freedom, as long as you meet deadlines. But I'm getting second thoughts, because people keep coming up with jobs they needed done yesterday, and they do not want to pay according to the contractor's pyramid. Its getting on my nerves.

But making avatars is really easy. Only find a pic, crop it, make a few color adjustments if necessary, and voila.
The following, for instance, only took me about a minute to make on average:

So, if you ever need a good avatar made, about anything, don't hesitate to lemme know.

Since you're the Zen master around here, I thought I'd x-post this from my blog incase you miss it there, would like your input Jack.

I identified ages ago, that my biggest problems are psychological. When my heads right, I play well. If its not, I spew. This still seems to be my biggest problem. I'm trying to come up with ideas to help with that, but I'd welcome any suggestions as well.

I just wanted to share this fucking awesome pic of David Benyamine I found.

And also, I have rethought about my numerology superstition: I'll keep posting on this forum until I tire.

I've been watching Dexter lately, its pretty good.

I've been thinking about it, and it seems this will be the best thing to do. I have been grinding a lot lately, but I have found that you have to relieve your mind from things, give it some off time if you will, for it to perform at its Absolute peak when you need it to. At times, like, during grinding.

So I have decided, since I have been grinding a lot these days, that it would be somehow counterproductive to post about poker here for me. Do not worry though: my bar will remain open, and you will continue finding lots of random crap here to make your day a little more pleasant. You can contribute if you want to, of course.

That said, what do you think about this hand?

Poker is kinda easy when you flop the house and people bet.

flamin' homer:

fuck Ongame and all its bonuses.

i'm grinding this $200 Bonus I got going and then get the fuck out.

I dropped like 4 buyins at 30NL shorthanded because i had no idea what the poop was going on when it got to me. misclicks, miss tables, etc. the graphics annoy me, the sounds annoy me, the glitches annoy me. the cashier annoys me. i have to sit out to reload wtf.

to think i used to like this shit at some point during last year.

the software is a technical and perverse nightmare. there are some truly bad players around here, but I can find just as many playing on stars at 25NL to 50NL at any given moment like easy peasy.

just GTFO.

^

Not at all, but you gotta puff puff pass though.

I will be having some vodka icecold

A few things I kinda realized yesterday, while unrelatedly playing some Pro Evolution Soccer 6:

1) Many want to go to heaven, but few want to die to do so.
2) No matter how you look at it, as long as your opponent is not drawing dead, there are at least (52 - 20 - 1burn - 3flop) at least 29 cards to come by turn and river. Thats not a lot. I mean, thats like 1/29 to hit a card he might need, and obviously a bigger chance to hit more. Obviously, since a clean out is 2.5% (which is even less than this) and somebody could have also folded it, makes it even more interesting.
With this I mean is, that as long as the opponent is not drawing dead, there is always the chance he will hit. And this chance, is never tooo little, like 1 in 1 million.
3) The game is perfect. You, however, are not and will never be. Remember this.
You can strive to perfection, but you will not attain this, for the simple fact that you are human, and humans commit lots of errors all the time.
4) You have to forget about your big losses, but by association, you also have to forget about your big wins.
5) There are people who do it, and people who document it. Someone who documents cannot actually do it, and vice versa

On my game: I have gotten a lot better at closing the deal when playing tournaments. I have finally won my first $4,40, despite having coming in 2nd multiple times before. Basically, I get to the FT, but then I can only get either 2nd or 3rd. No other spots. While it has been very profitable during the course of my play, it has also been very frustrating.

Oh, and these things keep coming. Its specially nice, on a day in which I couldnt win a coinflip to save my life. And yes, I continue playing massively overrolled to my current stakes in SNGs. I'm leaving a lot of money on the table. I guess I'm very risk averse, I just don't like seeing that bankroll moving in the wrong direction with too big steps. Also, I got my roll spread out on 4 sites, mith a max of 750 on stars and a min of 200 on FT. about 600 on both Ongame and PKR. about $300 sitting randomly in my moneybookers account. Maybe I should put it all in one place and grind it out?

Yes, 50NL.

So I fired up a session of Ongame, 2-tabling 50NL.

In under 30 hands I was down 3BI. Must be a new record.

Lost an 80/20 and two 93/7s all on river, one in a $179 pot.

Of course I'm done for today. gg me.
