Am I right to call flop bet with implied odds opportunity? At turn, Im getting 3 to 1 on call. Does implied odds (if I put him on trips, and I did) tell me to call here? And if I hit big flush…then what? |

| Anyway, reload prepreflop, raise preflop, call flop as played, turn is more tricky and I don't feel like counting the pot. Basically you need to search around and find a post on implied odds and pot odds and playing draws (pro tip: check the sticky and search function). If this fails then maybe you could talk about what you think his range is. It might be {JJ+, 33, 99} which is cool since you're only drawing completely dead against that range something like 16% of the time. |

i'll have a go at the maths but i'm terrible so hopefully soon someone who knows will come along and correct me, then that way we all learn.
if you call the turn the max you can win is $7.50 because your stack is short (pot will be $6). you are getting 3:1 on your turn call, and if he has a three, you have 7 outs (Jh is no good and he has to have another card with his three which, if its not a heart, makes him a full house anyway). i actually like to remove discount perhaps one out on paired boards for the times he has J9, 39, and just because drawing to flushes on paired boards isn't great. 6 outs once = roughly 12% chance of hitting. you are getting 3:1, and thus, being a roughly 7:1 dog, you need to extract (this is probably wrong) 4x$1.5=6 on the river to break even? seeing as the effective stack is $6 you have to be sure he stacks off every time a heart falls just to break even, i think it's a fold. i'd almost be willing to bet i kooked the maths in there somewhere, and also, am i correct in discounting that many outs? |

| sorry you do have a little bit of room to profit, as the effective stack is $7.50 (i thought it was 6) so it is possible, if my maths was remotely correct, to profit on the river. |

Fold preflop and for God sakes stop limping. A solid winning player limps like what.. 2 times a session? and has a good reason for doing so on the button or sb.
As played fold that crap. |

Are you entering the whole hand, or only the part you posted here? |

Youre right outlaw. Definite fold. I fuckin hate A10. When suited it looks good and I get myself into this kind of jam. One of those: "grab leg by the ankle, remove from ass" situations.
But, yeah, put the whole thing in input box and hit convert. Gave me format error. Do I need to download anything? I looked at the stars example in FAQ and put in same amount of information. Chose FTR format. I didnt check any boxes. Any suggestions? |

go to weaktight.com
make an account, post a hand history using their converter, and then switch to FTR format and post what it gives you (or just post the weaktight link).
Maybe that helps show what the HH should look like too, idk. I find it easier to use anyway though. |

| I'm sure there is something simple you are doing wrong. I don't have camtasia down here or I'd make a video on how to do it. Maybe someone else will make one and post it somewhere for n00bs. |
