Shame it so seldom pays off like it oughtta. The history: I was raising on the button (eddie's big blind) over and over with all sorts of hands. After the first couple, he started re-raising me a lot. Once I called a re-raise and had to fold when the flop flew over my head; the second time I folded to a larger re-raise when I had absolute junk cards. This time I figured his range for re-raising me had to be very generous, and made a move with my good friend, the weak ace:

| Just haven't played ring in a while, so I want to ramp back up slowly. I never played anything above $100 NL regularly anyway, so this isn't much of a downgrade. For the last six months I've done nothing but SnG's and MTT's. |

| Yeah, I think he was pretty much sick of my shit. The whole table probably was, really, but he was the only guy willing to take a flyer with a weak hand like that. |

KQ isn't a bad hand to make a stand with, 2 overcards to almost all pairs only dominated by AQ, AK (non - pairs). Im guessing you were trying to run over the table and this guy decided to show you that he is not afraid of gambooling it up with you, good play all round. |
