This hand isn't a big deal but it made me laugh. I play semi lag and this short stack wasn't letting me do my thing because he was calling me too much.

I need to be a little more focused on position. I let myself get a little too deep with marginal hands OOP. Reverse cowgirl is my favorite position btw. |

Played on FTP 4 years ago for deposit Bonus back when Bonus whoring was cool. That or when Bonus whoring was doable with neteller. Fast forward 3 years later, I decide I want Rakeback, can't even remember my old account or password and get a new account with a new email address since I've graduated and now use gmail. FTP had no problem letting me deposit and play but suddenly I ask if I can play more than 8 tables and they flip out.
Now I've been sent a mail saying they're forwarding my transfer request to a senior agent who will take up to 2-3 days to transfer my funds. Hopefully they put it back in my old account but this could be a never ending circle where I never get my monies. |

When I was posting the hand I was wondering the same thing.
I have the 9 diamonds, 3 2's, and 3 aces. Hitting the ace doesn't win me the hand in most situations. Op is playing this pretty damn strong for such deep stacks. Diamond or a 2 on the river probably isn't going to net me enough on the river to make it profitable. 4 or 3 of diamonds completely screws me too. Villain may not have a set but I'm not maxing my value on a paired board.
I think this is a clear fold to 3bet on flop but a marginal fold on turn. |

Looking back in the hand, I think this is pretty obv. You're not folding many Kx with a raise and you have sick equity vs anything else. |

I don't mind the a raise. Backdoor str8 draw NFD and overcard. Get some money in the pot in position with equity before the turn.
Call the turn |

| While I'm thinking about my 2009 goals and targets, can someone point me to a source that details achieving SNE status? IE, X amount of hands at xNL |

BB is 44/26
BTN is 11/8
I was just baffled by BTN's fold. His line screamed set. I want opinions on what BTN had, TT or a str8 draw?
Also, I was probably shoving over BB raise if BTN had folded instead of raised.
$0.25/$0.5 No Limit Holdem
6 players
Converted at weaktight.com
Stacks:
UTG ($32.80)
Hero (UTG+1) ($50.00)
CO ($65.35)
BTN ($57.20)
SB ($31.45)
BB ($71.85)
Pre-flop: ($0.75, 6 players) Hero is UTG+1
UTG calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, BTN calls $2, 1 fold, BB calls $1.50, UTG calls $1.50
Flop: ($8.25, 4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $5, BTN raises to $12.50, BB raises to $21.50, UTG folds, Hero folds, BTN folds
Final Pot: $38.25
BB wins $45.40 ( won +$21.90 )
UTG lost -$2
Hero lost -$7
BTN lost -$14.50 |

No way BTN had a straight draw. 79 just isn't in his range. Probably just one of those random mindless spazz moments they have.
Edit: If it was just you and BB, I'd just call BB down since that's such a safe board and you're IP. |
