| on Friday night, I hit $1800 stack in 1/2NL Game. There were 4 guys who had at least 300BB deep stack at my table and limped in or raised shit like crazy. Two of those LAG guys had about $1000 stack and played super loose aggressively with a wider range of hands. So I tried to throw away KJo, KQo in any positions, limp in AJo+ in ep and play small TPGK or TPTK pots as passively as I can. I also started calling/limping lots of suited gappers,sc, Ace sooted, suited broadways and offsuit connetors in position as well against LAG big stacks. Is this the optimal strategy I need to adjust to counteract their style of play in deep stack LIMP-FEST games? It seemed that I didn't really exploit their weak range and bumped into a few second best hand situations instead. |

I've been in similar situations so here is my general outlook...
My strategy is generally to identify when people have big hands and who is giving away their money. I'll go out of my way to call pairs and suited aces and suited connected cards with these players. Position helps. I still play tight in Early position and I just build a pot with hands that have the potential to stack players.
I do limp alot of AJo/ KQo type hands in EP because I feel they have less value in super deep stack situations. Its all about those few times you hit a nut hand/2 pair/trips/straight and stack someone who is overplaying their hand.
I find in these games that I can easily lose a couple hundred just trying to hit flops, but when you do hit a big one in comes in even faster.
Here is an example: Eff stack = $600
Crazy loose whale w/ 20k in his pocket raises to $25, passive gambler calls, I'm sitting on the button with T9s and this is an easy call IMO.
Flop is 678 rainbow... and I get both guys to stack off to me. One guy has 45 and the whale had J5o....LOL.
I'm not sure about throwing away the unsuited broadway hands...because if you hit 2 pair they probably won't get away from TPTK and you can win a huge pot. I would probably call a raise up to 15$ but I wouldnt call a 25$ raise. |

| p.s I'm not sure how great my strategy is here because its mostly on speculation and its almost impossible to lose against 1-2 gambool tards who gain big stacks. |
