I got myself into an all-in bet after the flop with AKs. It worked out okay for me, I won the showdown, but I know I didn't play correctly, considering the flop completely missed me.

Everyone at the table had about the same stack size (max buy-in):

I was delt AcKc

Quote:
EP1: Call $0.10
EP2: Fold
EP3: Fold
MP1: Fold
Hero (MP2): Raise $0.40
LP1: Fold
LP2: Fold
SB: Fold
BB: Fold
EP1: Raise $0.70
Hero: Re-raise $1.70
EP1: Call

Pot: $5.05
Community cards: 4h 10d 9d

Hero: Bet $4.00
Villian: Raise All-in $8.20
Hero: Call, All-in, $2.20

Turn: 4h
River: Kh

The guy betting into me ended up having AQo. So I ended up winning with TPTK, but how should this hand have been played? Of course it worked out for me this time, but not everyone is going to bet into me with AQ off-suit.

First off, your 4 bet is way weak, should be about $2.10 to $2.80.

C-bet is maybe a little to large.

But other then that fine, You're getting great odds to call the all - in so other then the above theres really nothing wrong here.

Thanks for the response. Can you elaborate a little and tell me what an appropriate C-bet would be? I didn't even want to see the turn or river which is why I bet so much. Confused

if your stacks were bigger I would think your cbet was fine. The thing wrong with your cbet is that it is never correct to fold once reraised becuase you have so little behind so you should have either bet less or shoved.
