I deposited some money into absolute poker (which, by the way, has a great 150% Bonus for first time deposits). I was going to clear my Bonus because I think you have 2 weeks to clear it out. The way it works is that you have to play 100 raked hands to get your Bonus out in 10 dollar increments. I had 100 dollars in pending Bonus money and thought it would be easy to get out. I played to the point where I was down to 30 dollars and worked my way up to 279. What a rush!!! I finally cleared the Bonus last night at about 10 o clock and cashed out 179. I was proud of that but is made me wonder. How do you guys play 3+ tables for hours on end? I was 3 tabling for about 8 hours straight and at the end of the night my eyes were about to fall out of my head, my mouse hand was cramping up, and at times I was just overwhelmed like when I was in 3 hands at a time. I just realized that I don't think I could do this for a living (but it is a nice hobby) and for all you guys that do or have done it, I have new respect for you. It's tougher that it looks.

Thanks
DannyD

You have to master one table first, but after a week of quad tabling you start thinking about buying another monitor so you can play more.

quad tabling limit is easier than quad tabling NL in my opinion. Mainly because it all comes down to bet/raise or check/call or fold.

I struggle cause ive only got a 15inch monitor with 1024*768 resolution.
When I have 2 windows to make choices on at the same time 1 will pop up, then the other pops up over the top of it. Plus, for whatever reason i cant just select one window to bring it back to the top, i have to minimize all the other windows.
Im picking up a new (biiig) monitor soon though so i can have pro duel screen setup. If you can have 3 or 4 windows open at once and fully displayed with no overlapping it makes it much much easier.

Anyways, my advice would be dont play for 8 hours straight. Have a rest every hour or two, take a walk, get a snack.
you shouldnt be looking at a monitor for too long without resting it can damage your eyes.

yeah, i play 4-5 hours a day, usually in 2 2-hour sessions, and maybe another 1 hour session before bed. it is best to take some time to clear your head. get some food, go for a walk, go hang out with friends or something.

yeah, the 8 hours straight was pretty stupid. I'll never do that again. The only other times I've played 8 hours straight was in a B&M or a home cash game. Those were actually 7 hours but still....loooooong time.
