First off, bring a jacket. Its bloody cold in there. And its crowded - I heard the place often has 2-3 hour waits for seats to open up.
Alright, lets start with this - the only limits they have are $1/2 and straight $2. The blinds in the $1/2 game are $1 for both the SB and the BB. I didnt play straight 2. Maybe thats standard at casinos, but it seemed stupid to me.
Pots are regularly 8-9 way, particularly in the morning when the 'old folks' are there. About mid-day the 'regulars' come and tighten everything up a little bit.
Next, its a complete gamble-fest. Not exactly a "bad" thing.
You didn't "have" to tip every hand you won (including split pots - the dealer got tipped twice!) but you definitely felt like a shithead for not doing it (since everyone else was.) 10% rake, + tip, + $1/$1 blinds = profit eater.
Bonus - Drinks appeared to be complimentary. I didn't actually have any (keepin my mind clear to fight off gamblin grandma... lol.)
All in all, it was a fun time, I'll admit. I played for 8 hours and ended up down $13 for the day. But DEFINITELY not a profit-maker. |

| They also do not allow you to listen to cd/mp3 players during play. |
