he had $550 left on riv after he bet $500,

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (2 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Button ($1457.25)
Hero ($1838)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, 8.
Button raises to $30, Hero calls $20.

Flop: ($60) 2, 8, Q (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $50, Hero raises to $150, Button calls $100.

Turn: ($360) K (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $200, Hero calls $200.

River: ($760) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $500, Hero raises to $1458, Button folds.

Final Pot: $1760

Results in white below:
Hero has Ac 8s (one pair, eights).
Outcome: Hero wins $1760.

shit, I just don't understand this game

what is your reasoning here? What does he have that you want to push him off that beats you and bets the river and will fold?

he put me on a certain range after flop c/r and turn c/c

he is above average player so he is value betting strong Qx hands here, because it thinks it beats my calling range

the river c/r is so small he should think that i think hesnot folding, so he should fold hands as strong as AA here, because afterall, why would i bluff with such a small ber

ofc after showing the a8 here i cant pull too many more of these for the rest of the session

Gabe, I have no idea wtf you are doing here. Please share...

I like his line if he has AQ, but it's obviously bad against you Smile

Sorry I didn't see page 2 of this thread.

Yes the river is not very hard to figure out - a reasonable attack on what seems to be thin value, but what is strange here is of course the TURN!!!???

Yes... but this seems like a good board to double barrel a lone FD. I guess that doesn't mean everyones gonna do it though...

I think your on a few levels too low. Wasicka isnt expecting zook to bluff in this spot.
