The only reason im at this table is because of YL08DW who is a massive fish if you dont already know. He's lost like $180k at nl100-nl400 this year and i have the jesus seat on him.
MP is a nit/tag running like 15/12 over only 40 hands. Is this super standard and should i just stick it in? Not really sure of MP's limping range, but i would assume he raises PP's. 56cc and 57cc could def be in there, and it would make sense for him to c/c the flop with it because he has sick implied odds vs the fish. Can i just stick it in here maybe behind MP's range but crushing the fish's and probably only losing ~$200ish when behind? idk, i was just isoing and 3betting the fish and nut peddling against the rest of the table.
Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
saw flop
SB ($811)
BB ($800)
UTG ($910)
MP ($376.70)
YL08DW (CO) ($681.20)
Hero (Button) ($641)
Preflop: Hero is Button with 3 , 3
1 fold, MP calls $4, YL08DW calls $4, Hero raises to $20, 2 folds, MP calls $16, YL08DW calls $16
Flop: ($66) 6 , 4 , 3 (3 players)
MP checks, YL08DW checks, Hero bets $48, MP calls $48, YL08DW calls $48
Turn: ($210) 8 (3 players)
MP checks, YL08DW checks, Hero bets $146, MP raises to $308.70 (All-In), YL08DW calls $308.70, Hero ??? (~$470 behind) |

stick it in, say MP has a straight and the fish has 99 or something stupid
you can scoop at best and only lose $160 when behind
it would suck if the fish has better, though
you can construct an equation for how often the fish has to be good and how often MP has to be good for the call to be incorrect |

| i dont understand how this is remotely close, u can get in like 275 more vs the fish with like 85%+ equity in the sidepot, meaning you probably need like 15% equity in the main pot to break even.... |

this was stupid to post. i know i have to stick it in here but was nervous since it was my first time playing 2/4.
i stuck it in and obv MP has 66 and superfish has the expert 25o and scoops a $1600+ pot. The next hand i get coolered with QQ<KK AIPF for a -$1k in 2 hands run to take me from having a awesome +$1600 day to a standard who cares $600 day. went from an awesome NYE to a shitty one real fast.
oh well, sorry for posting this. |

| hmm so he did show up with the nuts with that line. id expect this to be a close fold vs most "fish" (with a tight player in the pot as well) but if this guy is really down 180k at low/mid stakes i figured he was just getting it in retarded all the time. did you have a read on how lightly he would stack off in a deep multiway pot with tons of action? |

no real reads because i've only played 60ish hands with him, but i've watched him several times while on waiting lists. He had put in about 1/2 his stack a few times and folded to a shove, maybe 2-3 times that i saw. He definitely stacks light here and i would expect almost any overpair to call the original shove from MP.
edit: that -$180k is only over 50k hands also, so he is spewing hard for sure. |

| yea but im guessing overpairs arent in his range so its much more complicated if hes not the type to just autocall off with like K5hh |
