OK, so I know many of you use scripts while you play poker to ease the process of multitabling. I downloaded most my scripts from overcards. The only issue I have is opening all thee god damn things scripts/client/pahud blah blah... when I start playing poker.
I know its only basic, but some of you guys might not know how to create a batch file, so I'll walk you through the process. This will allow you to open any client and at the same time open any scripts/other programs you like. You can have it customised for different poker clients if you like.
1. Create a new word document
2. Use the 'START' command followed by the path of any programs /scripts you wish to open
3. Save as PokerStars.bat or whatever
4. Click to run, yay!
Here's mine:
| Quote: | START C:\"Program Files"\PokerStars\PokerStarsUpdate.exe
START C:\"Documents and Settings"\Muzz.COMPANY-65C9345\Desktop\AHK\StarsPlanner-v0.4d.ahk
START C:\"Documents and Settings"\Muzz.COMPANY-65C9345\Desktop\AHK\StarsAssistant_v0.88.ahk
START E:\"Program Files"\"Poker Tracker V2"\ptrack2.exe
START C:\"Program Files"\"PokerAce Hud"\PAHud.exe |
You can also creat a shortcut for the bat rename it to yourskin and then change the icon to the normal skin icon if you like.
Now it's not such a pain in the arse to open everything up! lol |

What did I do wrong?
'RUN'
START "C:\Program Files\Poker Tracker V2\ptrack2.exe"
START "C:\Program Files\PokerAce Hud\PAHud.exe"
START "C:\Program Files\PokerStars\PokerStarsUpdate.exe"
START "C:\Documents and Settings\Mine\Desktop\AHK SCRIPTS\BetPot-v0.2s" |

All you need is this...
START C:\"Program Files"\"Poker Tracker V2"\ptrack2.exe
START C:\"Program Files"\"PokerAce Hud"\PAHud.exe
START C:\"Program Files"\PokerStars\PokerStarsUpdate.exe
START C:\"Documents and Settings"\Mine\Desktop\"AHK SCRIPTS"\BetPot-v0.2s
Should be good to go now Jason. I put RUN in the original post, but I meant START. I've edited it now. Just copy and paste what's above and it should work! |

I play PS and 9 table. I have an auto reloader, betpot, something which puts a red line round the table that needs action and another script wich resizes and positions my tables how I like them and auto buy me in for full when I sit down.
Check out overcards for others http://www.overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/AutoHotKey |

do any of you find that FPHG bogs down the system? is it worth having this running just so you can use betpot script?
also, if you are sitting at a table with fphg running, does it still write to your hard drive?
if so, doesnt that mean that fphg and party are both wiritng the same HH's to your hard drive in 2 seperate places?? |

As for the second part, yeah, it still writes if you're sitting at the table, but PT won't import the same hand twice (just as it won't if you import all your hands for a session then force a new import). |

| Ok huge bump but is Fozzy's program still a good program? I mean are there newer, better ones? I don't have my .ahk script halv made for me anymore but he could make it so HEM (maybe PT2 back then) would start autoimporting. Anyone able to do this with HEM and have the HUD start too? |

What would be the purpose of doing this batch file?
I don't quite understand, are you adding a file, or changing one of their's? |

The title of the thread gives it away no?
Usiing either the batch or the opener, links posted by fozzy, you can open HEM/client/all you AHKs with one mouse click - rather than opening them all seperately. |
