Fun with AA

CARDSON

I have had AA 6 times since going back to Poker Stars. I've been using Poker Tracker, and I am actually losing money on the 6 hands. I won once and lost 5 times. I don't feel too bad about it because the total loss is only 35 cents -- 3 of the beats were in nickel games and the one win was in a .50/1.00 game.

Can anyone find any holes in the way I am playing my AA? Am I not folding an obvious loser or not playing aggressive enough?

6 hand sis a small sample size, my QQ finished down for the whole of September with a sample size of 14 (0.41)BB compared to Augusts sample of 26 2.26BBs per hand.

Granted Aces are harder to beat but if they variance comes in many ways (i.e. roulette wheels spinning Black 10 times in a row even though its very inprobable)

Heres my AA samples from the last month or so

Won/Saw
39/53 = 71%

I've taken some BIG losses with AA, but even with my biggest losses added in my total winnings with AA is $99. This is mostly at .5/1 poker, and a few $25 NL/PL games.

So in theory Mike could have lsot 13 in a row and then won the next 39, very unlikly but not impossible...

AA, the best hand of poker but beware
