Format and Rules
FIRST SEGMENT: MODERATOR Q&A (1-on-1)
1. Only the Session Moderator is allowed to ask prepared questions. All others must refrain from any chat during this time.
2. If anyone other than the Moderator has a follow-up question or a comment, he must save it for Open Q&A.
3. Session Moderator informs everyone that he's done with his questions and welcomes the guest to all members.
SECOND SEGMENT: OPEN Q&A1. Questions should be limited to batches of three. Additional questions will inevitably slip through. Once you see that there are at least three consecutive questions for the guest, refrain from all chat until the guest has had a chance to respond.
2. Guest may choose to answer as many (or as few) questions in each batch as he'd like. Once he's done with a batch, he tells us by saying "Next."
3. Repeat until the Session Moderator or an Administrator announces that Open Q&A time is up.
THIRD SEGMENT: FINAL COMMENTS
1. Comments and thanks to the guest. No questions.
2. Final parting words from the guest.
ADDITIONAL TIME (Open)
If the guest decides to stay longer, the remaining time is for freeform Q&A and comments. There is no limit to the number of simultaneous questions/comments and the guest is free to reply or not reply to as many of them as he chooses.
As always, our Rules Of Conduct apply in the FTR Chat Room. During these Guest Chat Sessions, politeness and courtesy are of utmost importance and anyone not adhering to our rules will be kicked immediately.
