Is anyone else experiencing intermittent freezes with FTP?
It freezes for like 10-30 seconds when it first opens up, then again after I enter my password, and then randomly while I'm playing. Sometimes it goes for an hour without freezing up, other times it freezes twice within 20 minutes or so.
It's killing me, support hasn't been any help and I haven't seen anything similar on the forums. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? |

| It's been doing that since the last major "upgrade" that toasted custom card mods etc. plus they've introduced new lobby options. It hasn't been a big pain in the ass but it has been irritating at times. Get mad when it folds you out while you're holding aces. |

i was having problems with it freezing once an hour until i found this fix on 2p2
| Quote: | "If you have Windows XP go to: Start >> Control Panel >> click on Switch To Classic View (left hand side, top left corner) >> Internet Options >> click on the Connections tab >> click on LAN Settings (bottom of window) >> UNCHECK everything >> click OK >> click OK.
So when you click on LAN Settings you should have 'auto detect settings', 'use automatic config script', and the 'proxy server' options all BLANK and NOT Checked."
|
if you dont have xp, i dont know what the equivalent to this would be, but the freezing has completely stopped since i did this. |

I have the same problem on FT, and more so since they introduced their new software. I have Windows 2000 so it's different than Windows XP. I went to >LAN settings> like Hawkfan said, and nothing was checked except >AUTO DETECT SETTINGS>. I unchecked it and will see what happens.
I hope it helps, because I'm playing on FT alot more trying to clear my "Biggest Bonus Ever". So far, losing my connection has cost me dearly several times in the middle of a hand. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! |

I have Vista and could not get the new Full Tilt to stop freezing. So I just deleted the program. Took my money from Full Tilt and play at Stars and UB.
