Hi, I'm Fnord. I used to play pretty ABC poker. Then I learned how to bully people. Sometimes I do really stupid things though. Those hands come here for peace.

Opponent is jaymzisking. I've played a lot of Omaha with him. He's a special kind of retarded. But I felt the need to be more retarded than him in this hand.

Turn: Nine of Diamonds ($173, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN goes all-in $102, Hero folds

Here I try to out-maniac the manaic. I though he was just aggressive, I didn't fully comprehend just how much he hated money.

I HATE it when the FPS bug bites, it always leaves a mess.

1)Not too bad. I kinda like it. Flop 3-bet is really no more than a CiB though?
2)Ewww. Maniacs don't understand what a "scare card" means.
3)Pre Sorta-Ewww. River bet is nasty 3-handed.
4)Curiosity killed the cat here. WTF Flop bet? WTF Turn bet? Though, what do you beat? Ugh.

PokerStars does that to me at the moment. I love playing 33/30 and bully Tag's who play ABC poker. Makes playing overrolled so much fun.

I see maniacs get away with that bet all of the time. I think the flop call is like 5x worse than the river bet.

Over rolled being the key point. These are the unfortunate consequence of whats been a +EV style for Fnord, but an example of why you wouldnt want to copy it without a good threshold for variance!

More senseless spew please Mr Fnord!

I ran like shit yesterday. Dropped 2 buy-ins where my Aces got cracked after my opponent committed pre-flop or with a c-bet, a few more on coolers and such. I only lost around $100 on the night. All of those small/medium pots add up.

I Heart PT3.

I just ran a query over my last 15k hands.
3-bet pre-flop
Hands other than TT+ AQ+ AJs KQs

Up $393.25

About break-even if you eliminate the two over-pairs I stacked.

UTG is sputnik3000. I have my opinions on his overall game, but he's certainly NOT level zero.

Oh ok? Well, jeez, then I wonder what level he's on where he thinks that after betting, and getting re-raised twice by two others that he might be ahead enough to push there. He had to know that one of you would call and he wouldn't like it... I guess I should clarify that he was Level 0 in this hand? It just appears that way to me... Obviously, I'm taking this one hand out of context and there's no way for me to know what led up to this either. If all of you are LAGGing it up, then let the fun begin!

I don't think his decision is awful considering the board invites a play just like Fnord's. He has to figure that with two people showing strength, at least one of them is on a combo draw, and the other may have another draw/A7/AK/AQ/AT enough that pushing in here is profitable. His equity is good enough in all likelihood that getting the money in three ways is at worst a marginally bad thing.

We also have no info here on CO or Fnord's table image, or recent history between the three players. So who knows.

Depending on the player, this can't be such an abnormal stretch here...but:

Is there a way to query PokerTracker how much you won/lost by calling ... let's say on the river.
I try to stay away from the call button, because I'm pretty sure I'm loosing money whenever I click it. Just because the common theme in this thread is also - you win by raising, you loose by calling. Except for the last hand I guess...

I don't play this deep very often as I usually control the table or leave. This guy was giving me a bunch of grief with his no folding thing. Then I coolered him for the biggest 1/2 pot I've ever played.

I think 250bb deep he needs to get away from bottom set at some point or at least stop re-raising me.

Sick Fact: KK has STILL made me more money than AA for as long as I've been using PT3 (32k hands.)
