Opponent is 46/20 through 25 hands. Wondering about my flop bet, maybe c/r shows weakness? Maybe I overbet the pot instead? Figured I'm in trouble on turn...lags will call most any amount with A/K of spades.
Ready to pass on a big bet.
More generally, this scenario feels like a high variance situation for me against LAGs...hard to control potsize OOP and prime spot for him to bluff me off. Big river bet screams A.

| I usually fold this hand oop, but against really bad players a call might be ok. I lead the flop for close to pot and look to get it all-in. As played, c/r bigger. As played, c/c turn is good, probably c/f river, but against a bad lagg I might find a call. |

check fold turn is good but you can call a bet that small.
Folding the river to a bet that size is fine. |

| how about a reraise to 1.2 on the turn. It's not a large raise as compared to the pot, but to a low stakes player they see this as strength, regardless of the pot size. If he comes over the top you'll know you're beat but you may get a fold and possibly a call with a worse hand. If he calls just c/f river. Someone set me straight if I am totally wrong here. |

| reraising turn is terrible, the bet on the turn looks like an intentionally wimpy bet by an A or K looking for business. I frustratingly call turn because bet is so small and fold river |

The fact that it is likely a K or A high flush is why i would reraise. If you think you're going to have a tough time folding the river to a bet such as the one given, then this is a cheaper way to see where you at in the hand while possibly forcing a fold.
Just a screwy idea i guess. Once again please criticize me if this makes no sense whatsoever, but i am also curious to know if my logic behind the play is OK. |
