I think I meesed up on this hand by not raising enough on the flop. I raised 4x his bet but that only represented 1/2 the pot. I shouldve possibly folded the turn when he lead but he couldve been betting the King and I still had 4 to the flush (which i only had 6 outs) but he had the straight flush draw which i wouldve probably set me all-in on the flop. |

| Played perfectly in my opinion. You merely got gayed. |

I agree. I think a pot-sized bet would have done it.
That said, what you did bet gave him bad enough odds to fold his flush draw, so I don't think you played it badly--just that, IMO, it usually takes around a pot-sized bet to push donks out. |

Why is everyone overlooking that opponent has double gutshot draw?
Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing 4c 8h 5h
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
Ad Ah 479 48.38 502 50.71 9 0.91 0.488
6h 2h 502 50.71 479 48.38 9 0.91 0.512
I don't know if he's a good enough player to know he's ahead of any pair on the flop, but he's ahead. I think a player who knows the math shoves over your flop reraise. I might be able to find a fold on the turn to the 3rd heart, also it seems like a set would take a similar line to him. |
