I really thought preflop it was possible that he could have this had , but didn't feel that I could smooth call and invite more callers. With this being a 6.50 sngo, I see that alot. Do you just lay it down pre when he re-raises me pre? I could see it being argues both ways, but remember this is a 6.5o turbo. Take a look.

When he re-raises pre flop i'm pushing and hoping not to see KK or AA. You're never getting away from this though, especially when you hit trips

I don't think it is ever right to fold a flopped set in a sng, esspecially to an ai bet.

FYP, but apart from the terminology difference I agree 100%. At a $6.50 I am shoving this preflop every time and expecting to be ahead most times.

I like his call PF, the mini-raise after all that action means KK+ a large percentage of the time even at the $6.50's and I'm prepared to get all my chips in the middle if no A or K lands on the flop.

Nothing you can do about running into those aces, though well played.

Thanks for all your thoughts guys. Just hope we can keep the set over sets to a minimum when you're on the short end of it. Thanks again.

Fold preflop. People don't 3-bet light. I fold QQ to 3-bets all the time unless I have the odds to set-hunt.
