Myself and a few friends are thinking about planning a little road trip here on the east coast. I'm wondering if any of you have been to the Borgata and/or Foxwoods and whether you would reccomend one over the other.
Gracias por adelantado |

| While I like to play in casinos, I've never been to either one. Sorry, not much help there. But, my suggestion would be to go to the one where Shauna Hiatt is staying at. |

I think i'd have to go to the Borgotta, its brand new and if you don't like that place you can always choose 6 other casinos around there.
Foxwoods you could jump ship to like 1-2 other casinos around there. |

excellent point, isn't it near the taj mahal?
I chose foxwoods because its the biggest casino, and it has sunshine coming in, but mike might have made me switch my opinion to borgata. |

| Definetly the Borgata. The waitresses have to be teh hottest around. The only thing is, on a Friday or Saturday night it get's really busy, and there are only 1 of a $5, $10, and $15 table. |

| Yeah, looks like it's going to be a trip to Borgata if for no other reason than it's closer by like 3 hours or some such. Hot Wait(mis)tresses are a very welcome Bonus as well as having The Taj and other casinos be near by. |

While ive never been to foxwoods(yet) i have been to most of the poker roos in AC and in my opinion the Borgata is the best of them. The room is very nice and comfortable and like the other poster said the drink girls are bangin'. May i suggest the NL table which has a max buy in of only $300 and $1/2 blinds.
Plus i dont think you can pick up a hooker in the woods of CT. Go to AC(but be careful its not the nicest place in the world) and enjoy this fine state of New Jersey. |

I voted Foxwoods, because I live in Ct. and play there. Plus the WSOP Champion for 2004 plays there. There is a great array of games and table limits to play. And the action is always good. Best advice is to show up early, because the lists fill up quick. When I go. I play mostly $2-$4 Limit Hold'em. And since the Mohegan Sun closed its poker room. It's the only local poker action going.
I usually play poker from 9am to 4pm there. And go to the craps tables after to either add to or recover my winnings. I love craps!! Foxwoods is also one stop on the WPT. And like I said before. Maybe not right now, because of the media rounds. But you can go and meet Greg Raymer who won the WSOP this year. Nicest guy you could meet. |

I like both. Borgota gets exceptionally busy (just like Bellagio does in LV), so expect a wait if you're going prime-time.
Both are clean and comfortable - Borgata has computer-style chairs with hydraulics that are the most comfortable of any poker room I've been to.
You've definitely got a huge advantage going to Borgota in that the waitresses are phenomenal.
I actually got to meet Greg at Foxwoods over Memorial Day weekend and chat for a few minutes before people spotted him and mobbed him. I'll vouch for what's been said before - he's a great guy. |
