Hi guys, used to post on here a bit but been out of the game for a while. Anyway, have got back into the SNG's (6.60 normal 6 handeds) recently and have been doing appallingly. Reckon I've sprung some leaks. Could anyone look through this and comment? Cheers.

Hey man, welcome back, good to see a familiar face around again! I'll take a look at this when I get a chance.

Link didn't work, but this one did - http://www.flopturnriver.com/Finished-4-in-6-SNG-55-Buyin-5530.html

1. QQ - personally I make it 100 to go with the limper in front and you being in UTG+1

3. 66 - personally I fold this one from UTG with your stack size, since it's hard for you to call a raise (except for a minraise) and still have implied odds to play for a set on the flop.

6. AQo - either make it 250 to go or shove, no need to raise a full 3x BB when blinds hit 50/100 (and particularly since your stack is <15x BB)

7. AQo - ...and this illustrates why 2.5x BB is plenty as a preflop raise. As played, your flop bet is a little too small, I'd make it 400 to go (but if you'd raised less preflop then 300 would most likely be fine - see my point?)

A 7 BB (Hero's M = 4.89; f+f+r+F) (between 9 and 10) - I don't fold this one without a very solid read - push over (or if he put you AI, call).

11. A7o - I don't raise from UTG into the big stack in the BB, I'd just fold this

12. AQo - just shove and be done with it, if the big stack shoves over you have to fold

J 2 SB (Hero's M = 9.44; f+f+F) (between 12 and 13) - shove this

13. AA - why minraise now when you've been making it 3x BB all along?

14. A2o - shove it, if he shoves over you're almost priced in to call

16. ATo - haven't run it in Wiz but my gut feel tells me that this is a bit of a marginal shove from UTG. Could be wrong though

17. A4s - don't even need to run this one in Wiz to tell you that this isn't a good shove (even without being results oriented!)

I think you are a little rusty, there are some shove spots that you're missing and conversely there were a couple of raises/shoves from UTG that I think weren't the greatest. Also, consider raising only 2.5x BB once blinds hit 50/100 as that keeps the pot smaller on subsequent streets (particularly for a c-bet on a flop you brick).

Heh, thanks a lot Taipan. Glad you're still around and good advice as usual. Don't remember the 2.5BB rule of thumb for higher levels but seems sensible so will be adopting this. Cheers
