| Wow. This place was impressive. Not only was it the nicest place visually but they had some great service there as well. Around 40 tables total and some good action in the games. I started out playing some $4/8 and $8/16 limit. The $4/8 game was rediculously easy. Typical low limit stuff. Just played every suited connector i could get my hands on and took down some huge pots with them. In one 3 hour session i beat that game for $719. that was my personal best win rate averaging almost 30 bb/hr. The $8/16 was easy too but with a few more real players at the tables. played a long session and won almost $500. Also tried out a NL game wich was $2-5 NL with a $200 buy in. I thought the buy in was pretty low for these blinds so you had to pick what hands you started with carefully untill you had a stack built up. This game had some great action with some people having over 10 buyins on the table. However i lost a huge pot ,$700, when my nut flush on turn lost to a boat on the river. The best thing about the poker room at the Bellagio is you feel like you are playing in a classy place and not some dump. Everything is so nice and the chairs were the best ive ever sat in and easily accomidated some of my 16 hour sessions. Another cool part is all the famous pro's you see. I saw Gus Hansen, TJ Cloutier, Barry Greenstein, Chao Giang, Layne Flack, Hasan Habbib, and a couple of others there routinely. Only down side was the waits. if you didnt get there by 10 am you could be in for a 2 or 3 hour wait for some of the smaller limit tables. I would set my alarm every day for 10 am and go down to put my name on the list then return to my room to shower and get ready. about 30 mins later i would recieve a phone call telling me my seat was available. After going to the bellagio i doubt i would go anywhere else to play poker in vegas. |

Wow, this sounds like a nice feature. Were you staying at the Bellagio hotel, too? |

Yes. They only do this for hotel guests and will not call you on a cell phone. |
