Played for 3 and a half hrs. Final 83 players out of 800. Sitting in 17th.

Had QQ on a flop of J10x

Go all in get called by JK and Q9

He hits his straight and i just survive. Not too bad right?

Worst beat in brick and mortar.... I still wake up screaming.

Pot limit dealer choice in the NCO Club at Camp Hovey Korea. The dealer chose draw. I called before the draw. I held four to a straight flush and drew out the flush, of course not the straight flush.

This kid called with an ACE and drew four. He suddenly got happy.... very happy.

Me? I wasn't worried. I bet pot, he raised and I reraised, then he got a little worried and called.

The kid had drawn to that Ace: Ace...Ace.... seven.... seven.

On line?

Tourney, on the 6th table, I limped in from the button holding 9-8 of Spades. No big deal, take a look and then trash it.

The flop came Q J 10 of spades.... well maybe it WAS a big deal.

Got around to me and I checked. Turn came with trash and, on the second time around somebody bet fairly heavy... people started folding and I, owner of the straight flush in question, went all in.

Of course he called. I put him on a straight or a flush and I was too right.

He was holding A K of spades.

Continued from before. Figured I would give that same tourney another go today, out for revenge etc.

82 people left, about 30th place, with 10k chips I get AA again.

All in preflop with 44

4 comes on the river.

Two days from now I swear vengeance on UB. I will play again. And this time, Im folding every single AA I get.

Isn't it depressing how we got over 100 posts on the bad beats thread. Smile

down to the last $100 of my bankroll, from being a big winner in december and january, february has been a disaster. Beat after beat, big pairs are big losers, sets get run over by trash straights.

I'm at the point where i don't even want to put money on the table unless its a straight or better.

Two damn times this week now I've been busted at a table by a lower pocket pair hitting the two out draw on the turn. What the hell? Both times I got these idiots all in on the flop, and then the turn brings their magical get out of jail free card. I know this happens at times but give me a break already!!!! Just now I had my queens busted by jacks when the idiot raised my pot-sized bet on the flop, going all in (flop was all undercards). Of course he gets his jack on the turn... AAARRRRRGH. The really annoying part is that I was just playing some hands to clear a Bonus, not really playing very aggressive poker, and yet I managed to waste most of the Bonus on this one bad beat.

Straights are the stupidest fucking cocksmoker hands ever.

If you flop a straight one of several things will happen
1. Bet the pot, get folds and make jack shit.
2. Bet the pot, get called by 3 flush chasers, a guy with 2 pairs and another jackass hoping for the assend of your made straight and one of them will win the pot
3. The board will put 5 to a straight thats better than yours, 4 to the flush, AND pair

If you have any hand besides a straight, some poopyhead with garbage bullshit will catch a straight.

Look at this stupid muther fuck. Every fucking time I get ahead, people who shouldnt even be in the hand to begin with catch something.

Last night at a home game, I get dealt the [url=http://www.flopturnriver.com/Doyle-Brunson.html]Doyle Brunson[/url] hand on the button and the flop comes out T 2 A (rainbow), one of the fish who always bets his aces led out and I, of course, called him. The turn comes out and gives me my 10's full of 2's, and I push all in. Of course, Mr. Fish with his A can't get away from his almighty pair of aces and calls me only to see a third ace hit on the river to wipe me out with his higher full boat.

Man, it is beats like this to players like that that make me wonder why I do this to myself, sometimes.
