Hand 1 - you can't c/r that small... with COMPLETE air lol Smile Make it like $400 or something if you're gonna c/r bluff I think, that at least gives him a chance to fold.

All the rest seem pretty standard. It looked like you were hitting the world against this guy from the hands you showed, trips magnet lol, so not sure if some of those were coolers?

If not.. he musta been tilting or something Smile

Actually hand 1 why not just bet flop if you're 3-betting pre? Its not like you're afraid of getting raiased off some draw?

Lol I actually lost hands 3-5 thats why they were coolers, to trips with higher kickers. I also lost another one with trips in a similar way. I suppose getting it in with trips is pretty standard though in HU:)?? Not sure if I can slowdown somewhere in hand 4 though?

in an aggro match it's close to impossible to fold trips unless a bunch of draws complete or it's a limped pot 300bb's deep or something

Wow today i played 5.3k hands in just under 8 hours for a grand profit of .... -200$

yey, i feel like crap:P

anyways, last 2 months have been great, i won 29k and 21.5k. I'm aiming for 40k this month, its what I need to get my BR to 100k and win my bet vs Griffey. It's probably not achievable since I still play mostly 2/5 for some reason, but maybe I'll step up to some higher stakes to give myself some chances. I'm up $2,300 this month so $38k to go.

5.3k hands eh.. lol thats sick! You're gonna own that MPP competition though!

good luck with your $40k this month! You can do it... the question is... can I do it faster? Probably not.. given that I haven't played the last like 4 days. I gotta get back on the scene before you get too far ahead of me.

and yesss you should be playing way more 5/10 and stuff!

OMG, my computer has a trojan virus. I was playing my usual 12 tables the other day and all of a sudden everything froze and msn messenger windows were popping up all over the place sending random stuff to my contacts. I hope u guys havnt downloaded anything!!

This sucks even more since I had purchased a good antivirus protection software a few months ago. Anyways, I havnt played last 2 days because of it, and im not even sure when ill be able to play again, since its not fixed yet. I'm a computer noob so I gave it to my gf's brother to fix it.

Not sure how a 40k month is achievable now but ill try my best anyways. Cheers!

Time for a brag: Results and graph since I started this operation (2 1/2 months)

Add:
+9k conversation of pounds & euros
+15k bonuses and Rakeback
=66k YEY!

I havn't been playing a lot in terms of hours recently. I log in 2-3k hands a day at most, and most of it is 10-12 tabling. I'm running pretty hot, but I'm playing some of my best poker ever . I've loosened up a lot in the past months and I'm much much more comfortable with my postflop play. What I'm most proud of is that I havnt tilted in weeks, and it used to cost me at least a couple buyins here and there.

Sooooooo my roll is at like 75k now, and I saidd I'd make 40k this month and ownnnnn Griffey24 in our bet. I'm +15k this month so I got 25k left to go including Rakeback, which is definitly possible till the end of the month. lets GOGOGOGO WHY THE HELL AM I STILL PLAYING 500NL and lower though??? idontknow

GL ALL

youll have to figure in the hit your br will take when you donk off stacks to my buddies in sketchy underground games.

im coming up Friday the 29th and leaving Sunday the 2nd, we all need to hit up the casino followed by some intense ballin' out of control. especially now that my BR is in order.

I need to update this more often! It hasnt been going great lately, despite winning about 20k in February, I just cant put in consecutive winnings sessions and am playing a lot less because of it.

Today is a good example, sorry I couldn't convert them properly.

1) Clicked it back bluffed this guy a hand ago when he c/r my cbet, and he folded...

Ugh I'm slacking off with this thread thingy Sad Good news I finally won the bet I had vs. Griffey even though I was 10k away from completing it. It's nice to have won it, but really sucks that Griffey ran so bad during it. Until today that is... after giving me my 620$ we settled on (Ship it!), he proceeds to take $3.5k ONLY FROM ME during our sessions today. How sick is that? God what an ass...Razz

Today I played 3.5k hands to end up +29$, sweeeeet. It even includes the $620 from Grif. Bleh. Anyways March is good and is gonna get even better soon! Here are some hands from today:

1) Against Griffey, what a luckbox!

http://www.pokerhand.org/?2267047

2) Oh hey, I found another one vs Griffey!? My line is kinda weird but not rly, I guess it looks super strong but b/c of the lack of draws on board till river I was thinking a c/r would look even stronger. By river I just wanted him to think im bluffing the str8, im not sure if he calls AQ, if he does its good.

3) Hand of the day, 300+BB deep vs our very own Griffey yet again. This is a tough one, and it came after all those previous hands and numerous 3bet bluffing etc. I felt like although sets are definitly in his range here, us being this deep is a very good spot for him to bluff, since I can't call with much? Anyways I shipped it in thinking I had the best hand and it worked.. I'll crosspost this to the other forums w/out the results.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?2267066

4) This ones funny, both are major donks. Flop is not super great for my hand but with the pot and stacks I felt like felting would be my best play especially vs these idiots. Ship it!

http://www.pokerhand.org/?2267070

Now that the bet is over and even though I was leading by about 30k I feel a lot more free and not as worried to have losing sessions. I'll play a lot more 5/10 and 10/20 if the tables are good and slowly move away from 2/5, my bread and butter for so long. Cheers!

lol oooooh man those hands are brutal

2.5 months of a losing bet = ship Alexos $620
2.5 hours of running hot = ship $3.5k back

Good job again on the bet though, you play a lot more of a consistent/less swingy game than I do and you definitely own at it!

I feel like I sucked out on you on all those hands (which I did) but they seem pretty close to me.

Hand 1:

Board: 5s 2d 3d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 59.750% 59.07% 00.67% 25733 294.00 { TT-99, 66-55, 33-22, AdTd, Ad9d, Ad7d, Ad6d, 9d8d, 8d6d, 53s, 32s, 32o }
Hand 1: 40.250% 39.58% 00.67% 17239 294.00 { 4c4d }

Hand 2:

Is just a severe suckout, but I'm not putting any more money into that pot with my hand after your flop call

Hand 3:

This hand obviously sucks once you shove, but pot odds call now getting 2:1!

Board: Jh 6d 4h
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 63.820% 63.82% 00.00% 13900 0.00 { JJ+, 66, 44, AcJc, KhQh }
Hand 1: 36.180% 36.18% 00.00% 7880 0.00 { AhQh }

I have a new mini operation. Play 10k hands at 2/5 only and move up if my winrate is above 5ptbb while not playing more than 8 tables. If successful, rinse and repeat till 10/20. I just can't move up for some reason, although I probably have 70 BI for 10/20 I don't feel ready enough psychologically. This will force me to try it out, since I'll need to complete 10k hands at 10/20 before giving up on it!!!

I started yesterday and had some pretty good results.

Played a nice little session again. I can already smell 5/10 coming! Also managed to get set over setted and KK<AA this sesh. I also cheated at some point and was up to 12 tables instead of 8, and I was clearly playing worse so I'll stick to 8 in the future.

ffs how do you win showdowns on InterPoker?

I was sure the Rakeback deal was nullified by taking 10% off of your typical W$@SD :

your went to SD is pretty high genitruc.. is it always around 27%? thats pretty high! If you lower that, your won at SD will go up I'm sure.

the went to showdown is skewed a bit because a lot of my hands are HU or 3-handed since I usually just start new tables rather than waitlist when I'm not grinding during primetime

So I sit in today at 1/2 pounds table and see someone with the same name. WTF. Apparently different Crypto sites allow u to choose the same name, so u can play with another YOU as long as he's playing on another site. Weird. So I challenge this guy HU FOR SCREEN NAMES and eventually won it. Not sure if he'll be coming back.

Edit: PT messed up because of this and is giving me mad errors all over the place. I'm probably 1k short in hands but wtv, I reached my goal of 5ptbb so I'll move up to 5/10 tomorrow. I'll post the total stats later. Peace

Guys stop making fun of my name it's not nice. Besides, you're all jealous, must be really balla to have people steal ur screen names.

Ok so i'm done with 2/5 for a bit now. Few hands missing cuz of the sn fiasco but wtv, here are the stats.

So I'm all pumped and jump into 5/10 and get totallly crushed lol. As usual a mix of bad play and disgusting coolers Sad

lol we have way too many huge hands together I'm concluding!

1) I think you should just check through with QJ.. you have soooome SD value. My read was that you'd never flat call this drawy flop fourway with a set or two pair, so your range was mostly weak in my mind. This is actually the top of the range I would have expected.. compared to missed draws etc

2) standard

3) What do you think he has here? If he'll call a midpair hand then shove is good I think. It's only like half pot either way

4) This river is pretty gross and he can def have JT/flush. Its only half pot though so I make crying call.. hopefully he has some worse two pair 89, 79s or something

5) I like how you played this. Might as well keep ppl in if they are drawing dead to a flush. Definitely a cooler hand, since nobody was putting me on AT here I'm pretty sure after preflop

Gross few sessions. Hopefully you make a nice comeback! GL GL

I'll tell u this again Kmind, STACK HIM AT WILL. No more name stealing dammit!

Mini operation ended, -9 BI followed by +7 BI at 5/10.. There arn't enough tables to play 5/10 exclusively, so back to 2/5 through 10/20 mode..

+13k this month from poker, disappointing considering the # of hands I put in, but I've been running kinda bad, esp in deep pots.

Bleh I'm taking a break from operation thread, its going nowhere!

cmon that was standard!!!

I ordered a new chair on the weekend and it just got here today. I have mixed feelings about it ,maybe i'm just not comfortable with it yet, but i almost regret not getting the Humanscale freedom... albeit its a little more expensive than this one.. o well

maybe i can afford it after my 6.3k day yesterday

Alexos, a small question.
Isn't there enough traffic to play 5/10 (at least in different sites)?

Yeah I was just talking about Crypto specifically, where there are only enough 5/10 tables during prime time.

Other sites like PS/FT/Party certainly have enough tables at any time of the day i think.

And playing at more than 1 site at once usually tilts me so I avoid it and just play 2/5 or whatever is available.

edit: 5/5 on 114$ turbos, I should move up cuz ppl are terrible. Shoutout to Raptor for teaching me to limp the button with 90% of hands early, and then owning their soul postflop. Peace
