Full Tilt 0.25/0.5 Hold'em (9 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A, K.
UTG raises, Hero 3-bets, 7 folds, UTG calls.

Flop: (7.40 SB) 7, 7, 8 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, UTG raises, Hero ....

no notes on villian, on only second orbit since sitting down. Only other hand played was also AKo and I was c/r'd off it as well.

In theory the paired board is better for your hand because there are fewer cards that pair the board. I would certainly bet the turn HU, and I'd hate the check-raise. Is this the same villain who hit you with the c/r last time? Is this a point to make a stand and call him down? My guess is "no" but you don't want the villains to think it's too easy to c/r you off a hand...but maybe next time you will *have* a hand with which to fight back. OTOH you're getting 10:1 and you have 6 outs to TPTK...but will TPTK be good enough? I think you can justify a peel, but I would fold.

Villian open-raised from UTG - I think we can put him on a pretty narrow range, QQ+, AK most likely.

You're getting 3.8:1 to call down with about 29% equity against this range. Question is whether he would c/r with any AK here besides AhKh. In the absence of a read I would probably fold.

I don't think his range is quite what you're suggesting. He raised UTG, but didn't cap, and then check-raised a mid-range paired flop. I think his most likely hands by far are middle pairs that didn't improve, so I would call at least once.
