villain is a slightly looser regular compared to the rest at nit ring. Runs like 19/13, takes alot of flops ip etc, stealing around 30%, 3bing like 5%. Essentially he's a bad (slag(?)).

OK, he doesn't ship flop, so I'm pretty sure he never has a set because everyone ships it in when a flush draw is on board (so it seemse). How's my line? His turn sizing looks alot like he has QQ+ and put me squarely on a flush draw that missed. I guess it really depends on whether I think he can fold a 1 pair type hand often enough..perhaps he isn't the right opponent to do this on...but even against a player who can make the lay down, but I'm wondering how often you guys would call this down with like QQ or KK. (fwiw I don't c/r much).

I guess depending on how you look at it my line looks really strong, or really FOS.

Youd never take this line with a SET on this drawy board, so youre only repping 89s. If villain is half decent at reading you he knows this and your FE is probably 0 against QQ+.

hmm, maybe I should take this line with a set, because when I check the turn alot of players are going to bet their overpairs because they feel like they need to protect because when I check it looks like I have a flush draw that missed... So yeah, I can see how this can be a bad line to take with my draw, which should make it a good line to take with a set, right?

I would probably donk this flop... As played the flop raise is too small, villain is getting >3:1 and you want as much money in on this flop as possible. You've left yourself with a pretty awkward SPR on the turn, the c/r seems really spewy but you haven't left yourself many options after sizing the flop like that.

I really dont like the turn c/r.villain is hardly folding QQ+ after his turn bet.

flop cr sizing seems small. You almost have pot odds for a turn call. I don't see much fold equity after he happily bets turn rather than checking behind.

I kinda hesitated and almost lead out in real time. I think it's definately the best line for flop. Are we typically just c/c smallish bet, c/give up without a good price on the turn as opposed to barreling again? (I suppose this is like the gin card for us to barrel when we lead since we pick up more outs)

Either bet again or c/r, since villain almost never has a set after calling the flop donk and we look so so strong. On this turn I'm betting again.

checking turn after a flop c-r screams draw. Lead turn looks more like the money.
