raise the flop and consider checking behind on the turn.

his lead bet is usually a draw or a weak pair (second pair, MAYBE top pair, weak kicker), is occasionaly top pair with a good kicker, if hes a good player its often a made straight or a set, but we have to assume he isn't very good. Its almost never an overpair.

i'd make it at least 12 or 13, draws can call 7 profitably i think.

I was thinking raise to about 9 and expect to see a lot of folding Smile I generally like the 3X their bet raise.

Maby I am missing some value at these tables.

a raise to 9 gives them 6:16 on the call, which is not very good if he has a draw (the most likely hand in his range)

Alright, good, that's what I did:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG ($35.20)
MP ($56.50)
Hero ($49.25)

SB ($35.10)
BB ($144.05)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J, J.
2 folds, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, SB calls $1.75, 1 fold.

Flop: ($4.50) T, 6, 8 (2 players)
SB bets $3, Hero raises to $10.5, SB raises to $18, Hero ????
