this happened at the winstar casino.
the table is playing kinda tight. i haven't showndown any hands in the almost 2 hours ive been there, b ut ive been betting and raising at enough pots. im youngest person at the table by 10 years, they might view me as some aggro kid, i dont know.
effective stack size is ~$1100.
folded to me in MP, i open raise to $30. all folded to BB who calls. he stacked a guy an orbit or so again when he called an ~$700 allin with Ac9c on a 9722 board (two clubs) on the turn. he thought about it for a long time (not insta calling like any donk would do) so i think he is one of the stronger, thinking players.
flop comes
awesome...check, i bet $50, he calls.
turn is
he checks and says 'cmon man i have the ace'
old nit next to me leans in and says 'hes not lying son'
i check behind.
stone cold nuts! he is looking at me and says something else about having an ace. i ask him if hes lying, he says no. i ask him if he is folding, and he says no.
pot is ~$160, he checks, how much? |

| Tell them Bigred taught you how to play and then push all in. You'll get an insta call. |

| You should go all-in and let him look at one card of his choice. |

| Tell him you don't think he has the Ace and push. Now he has to prove he wasn't lying, and tell his freind to shut the hell up. |

I put him on AJ/AT/KQ/QJ and pot it. If he's slowplaying something he will c/r anyway, so you should only consider the marginal hands in his range IMO.
edit: TT/JJ is also in his range I guess.. |

He won't call with top/middle pair if you push and he'll raise anyway if he's got 2p+. |

| You are greedy! You should have split all the money evenly among all players at the table, as it is always done when someone is holding an ace...no wait...^^ |

yah, this is a tactic my friend uses live a lot.
In multiway pots he'll be like "I flopped a pair" and if someone bets, he'll think for a while and say "you must beat my pair."
Once he says he has the ace on the turn, he's only looking to call small on the river. You're not getting much value out of him. |

hm... I think we all hear this line a lot. Does "I've got the ace" mean "I'll fold if you convince me that you believe that and you still bet hard"? That's pretty useful... |
