| After around 8, I don't think it makes much difference except maybe to SnG players. I seriously doubt there are many people capable of playing more than 8 cash games at once. |

| I think the players/flop% has gone down. I also notice people who use to full stack now buyin for a 1/2 stack since the increase. I think overall the tables are terrible (at the $50 at least). |

| The multitablers are playing worse too. I'm guessing it may be quite awesome to drop tables to around six and laaaaaaag it up. I would actually do that if I didn't need to stick with my currently successful style. |

I know what you're getting at BankIt. I have noticed at 200NL that a lot of tables get "infested" with people playing 18+ tables. A lot of these tables are ABC, halfway poker educated FTR or 2+2 people that are doing some old fashioned GRINDING.
Sometimes the players to flop and $/pot drops ridiculously low at times....there's stretches of 2 orbits without seeing a flop, etc. These are TERRIBLE tables, unless you seriously loosen up and start stealing. As Fnord said in some other post, multitabling TAGG is the new fish in this post-UIGEA era of internet poker.
It's really hard to load up PokerStars and multitable (I can speak for FR, not 6-max) without seeing the same ol' faces. |

I was just about to make a new thread about stars becoming capmfest in a matter of weeks, then I saw this thread.
Below 10NL is still free money but 10NL has became just awfull(and I just moved up too, ain't that a bitch). plrs/flop has decreased just a bit(can barely find 50+ tables). But the actual players are seriouly tight, nobody wants to call 4xBB prflp anymore, most cbets are not getting called either. I supose it is good to steal binds and all, but it still isn't worth it for me since you aren't going to stack anyone.
I can't play just for the blinds so Im switching to Bodog.
Anyone else noticed 10NL downswing or was I just at the wrong table at the wrong time last 4 days in a row? |

FWIW I just played 11k hands at 10nl FR on stars with a 9.5ptbb/100 winrate. That included a 6BI downswing in the middle. This is what you need to beat that game.
1. The ability to fold medium-strength hands to aggression
--I.E. overpairs to turn/river raises
2. The ability to identify calling stations and take them to value town
3. Solid PF fundamentals
That's really it. |

Spenda, do you remember what was the player/flp % at the tables you wee playing? How many flops do you see when playing them? I usually run at 26-7% when twotabling 10NL there.
I dunno man, maybe I was just at the bad tables. I played 1k hands on 10nl stars, mostly on ~47%plr/flp tables and almost never got paid off with decent hands(most just fold to a 4xBB raise prflp). Been running horrible all weekend at Stars, even had to open up a 5nl table just so I can compensate for all the losses. Ended up playing -10BB/100 at 10NL, at the same time +30BB/100 on 5NL.(around 1k hands probably) Got tired after pretty much break- even play (losing 10NL and making all the money back on 5NL) and went to play Bodog.
At 10NL Bodog(i do not have any software that suports it to track my play) pocketed 6 buy ins in 6 hours and although I got coolered for 4 buy ins (3 of them with KK and one with AK,all river suckouts except one KKvsAA lol so I don't feel too bad). Still ended up playing good there even without a HUD.
I'll try to tighten up on stars and see if that was just bad weekend. If that doesn't work- Im getting something to track my Bodog plays with and just grind it there for now. |

If you're playing Full Ring 25% is way too loose against these players.
I'd suggest adding a couple more tables, dropping that down to like 15% and just nut-camping to build a roll.
I ran 15/9 and at one point was running 25ptbb/100 until I ht that bad downswing, ended up making 21 buyins in 11k hands. |
