Weak read of "positionally aware tagg with high steal%"

I should probably only do this preflop with a better read, eh?

We could talk about pre-flop, but meh.

Yeah, check/bomb the turn.

Preflop is fine/standard unless you have a read that he folds way too often to 3-bets in which case calling might be better. Most people who steal too much are also too ambitious defending against 3-bets. This is a great hand to 3-bet him with because he'll probably 4-bet the stuff that has you dominated and call with some stuff you dominate and then you can stack him when you both make top pair.

As played I'd just jam. This is a spot where you want to make him hate life if he has TT/JJ (which NEVER bet the turn if you check). Checking is only better if you think he's floating super often with gutshots and stuff.

Agree. I'm amazed by what looks me up when I shove here (at least at higher stakes).

I don't see many hands you dominate calling you except QJ suited sometimes. Just calling keeps in all K's and Q's you have dominated. I think you are chasing a ton of value out of the hand when you 3 bet.

Do you think that shoving here has the most value vs TT/JJ? Shouldn't there be more value in betting river if he checks behind, bombing if he bets? I don't understand why we are interested in making life difficult for marginal hands that we beat.
