I called the flop to try and get the fish to tag along. I also think that raising the turn here over reps my hands against what looks very much like a flush. On the river I was just wondering if there is any value in shoving. No relevant history. Clearly he is never folding better to a shove. So do you think there enough combos of hands that he calls to outweigh the times hes 22288 here? Although I guess there is merit to raising the flop here to just get it in vs sb. Although I still think I can get it in on a majority of turns even when the fish folds.

BTN: $268.80
SB: $476.00 (unknown)
Hero (BB): $244.25
UTG: $543.95
CO: $307.85 (fish)

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BB with Ad 3d
1 fold, CO calls $2, 1 fold, SB calls $1, Hero raises to $8, CO calls $6, SB calls $6

Flop: ($24.00) 8d Qd 2d (3 players)
SB bets $18, Hero calls $18, CO folds

Turn: ($60.00) 8s (2 players)
SB bets $42, Hero calls $42

River: ($144.00) 3h (2 players)
SB bets $100, Hero ?

Check preflop. I highly doubt you can raise this hand in this spot and play it profitably--I know I can't.

Flop is clear call. I'd for sure shove the river, worse flushes are very likely to pay you off. I probably wouldn't shove if we were 150bb deep unless I thought villain was quite call happy.

He isn't folding a flush for $76 more.

It makes life easier if you convert your HHs.

I was going to say post reads, but after reading it for a third time I realize you sort of put some reads in brackets.

As for the hand I agree with the others.
Villain could have a ton of flushes here and isn't folding any of them on the river.

River's the snappest shove ever considering qq is heavily discounted as is 88 as quads are rather hard to make.
