Don't know if I have the patience for this any more. Feels like I'm just wasting time when I spend an hour playing carefully, doing the right things and then this happens:

Villain is 85 / 30 ish whale.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP ($29.90)
CO ($10)
Button ($10.65)
SB ($10)
Hero (BB) ($10.20)
UTG ($11.25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, K
1 fold, MP bets $0.20, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.60, MP calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.25) 7, 8, K (2 players)
Hero bets $0.80, MP calls $0.80

Turn: ($2.85) Q (2 players)
Hero bets $2, MP calls $2

River: ($6.85) 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $5, MP raises to $10, Hero calls $1.80 (All-In)

Total pot: $20.45 | Rake: $1

Results:
Hero had K, K (three of a kind, Kings).
MP had 6, 4 (flush, King high).
Outcome: MP won $19.45

And obv on a board like that you know the flopped flush is a possibility. But there's something about him calling a 3bet and THEN flopping it with that utterly shit hand that just fucking kills me.

I agree, that's really hard to get away from.

And as for the pre-flop call:

Kc Kd 1342153 78.38 363776 21.24 6375 0.37 0.786
6h 4h 363776 21.24 1342153 78.38 6375 0.37 0.214

Just terrible. I want to strangle people when I see this, and scream at them: "small suited connectors and one-gappers don't play well heads-up!".

Ahh thanks for the support guys, was just expecting to (rightly) be told to get over it. Maybe Spoon's typing that response right now lol.

Anyway, feeling better today, went over my three big losing hands yesterday and realized there wasn't much I could do about any of them. Only had two big winning hands, so meh, anatomy of a losing session.

And thanks for the tip Para, you're right, I wanted to make it like a dollar. I had just been sitting there watching this donk luckbox a 350bb stack for an hour KNOWING that with the right hand he was easy money. Guess I didn't want to scare him off. Will work on that.

His mistake was playing the hand the way he did. Mine was letting it tilt me as hard as it did (I rarely feel the need to come in here). Maybe it's time to start that opp and really address this issue (and maybe start getting closer to 25nl lol).....
