I hit my flush draw here with 2 over to the board. Because of my EP I check the flop, hoping to catch a freebie or someone putting in 1/3-1/2 pot, which I will call.

I thought about pushing over here. Do I have enough FE to make this push?

FD + 2 overs is a very strong hand, you have up to 15 outs provided that opp didn't flop trip 6s (in which case you have 9) or a full house (in which case you're pretty much dead). However, it's a hand that very much benefits from having some fold equity and, if you're called, seeing both the turn and river cards without having to make another decision on the turn.

For that reason, if you're checking this flop (which I would), it has to be with the intention of check-raising all-in (which I would).

also I must add that this is a safe flop for check-raising.. I don't know what he hit on this flop to make that bet.. It's a high probability that he has nothing and will fold.. and also for the above reasons CRAI is good..

In my original post I believe I meant CR instead of call. In the end I wasn't sure on the CR because of the pot-sized nature of his bet, plus I wasn't certain on the FE.

The good news is I learnt from this and pushed a similar hand on the flop after catching the FD with 2 overs.

I'll certainly CRAI from a similar position in the future.
