Sauce123 and nutsinho Stir Up Action at PokerStars

Lately, prominent FTR forum members and astounding poker players Sauce123 and nutsinho have been putting on a great display of poker talent and have been tearing it up at PokerStars. Both have been sighted on PokerStars battling it out at heads-up tables at stakes as high as $50/$100. Later, Sauce123 was again sighted among the high stakes tables and was reported to have earned over $300,00 during the second half of last week. And last night, nutsinho won what is rumored to be the largest pot ever on PokerStars! The showdown happened against "RealAndyBeal" at $200/$400 PLO. Both Sauce123 and nutsinho have amassed almost $2 million in winnings on PokerStars and Full Tilt, showing that both of them are forces to be reckoned with on the digital felt. You can congratulate these players on their success and learn from them both on FTR's forums.

Gabe Patgorski Leads Final Table of WSOPC

Gabe Patgorski, more commonly known as gabe on the FTR forums (gp333 on PokerStars), is making headlines as the chipleader of the Midwest Regional Championship WSOPC final table! This is an incredible feat and the entire FTR community is rallying to cheer Gabe on! You can follow the action in Gabe's rail thread where updates and shout-outs are being posted. Gabe began the day with 729,000 chips, leading the pack of 24 players that survived to see Day 3. Even though Gabe didn't hold the lead all day, he put in a strong fight, including winning a hand against Bernard Lee without a showdown. Gabe will begin Day 4 as the only player holding more than 2,000,000 chips at the final table. We all wish Gabe the best of luck!

AFchung asks about calling on a river in our Full Ring NL Hold'em Forum.

Villain is 37/26 over a sample of only 27 hands. It's my first orbit at the table
Can we profitably call this river here? It feels like I'm getting shown AJ/A9 a ton here and his $10 sizing into $16 feels grossly weighted towards value. If he pots it I'd probably call and try to pick off a bluff but his bet sizing threw me off. Or am I leveling myself?

Turn: ($7.25) 9s (2 players)

BB bets $10, Hero folds

Total pot: $16.25 | Rake: $0.80

badgers: he is relatively unknown so he can easily be vbetting worse/ bluffing.

Deanglow: I like the turn bet but you can't fold the river against a fish with no read except loose preflop stats.

PapalRage: I hate your flop and turn betsizing, bet bigger. River is a call for sure.

al yell: From what we know can't we presume opponent is passive? And based on that observation is he likely to be donk bluffing / thinly vbetting the river?

rpm: from where did you get passive? i would have thought a 37/26 would be more on the aggressive side? i think he would have either lead or check/raised aces up if he had them on the flop or turn. i call expecting to see AJ at strongest, and busted draws some.

Poker News | PokerStars to Give Away Twelve Caribbean Adventure Packages

Poker Article | Full Tilt Poker Black Card Store

By BooG690
There are numerous perks connected to Full Tilt Poker's Black Card, but none are as coveted as the access to the Black Card store. The Black Card store has set the bar high in the online poker industry in terms of high-quality items. Players can exchange their Full Tilt Points for cool items including cash, electronics, and even automobiles! Please remember that all Black Card members also receive double Full Tilt Points at all tables so these items are not very hard to purchase.
With an online poker store that accepts Full Tilt Points as currency, Full Tilt Points essentially hold monetary value. This value can be calculated by dividing an item's value by the number of Full Tilt Points (FTPs) needed to purchase that item. One may assume that the value of an FTP may be consistent for all items, but that it not the case. The more expensive cash bonuses give players the most bang for their buck in terms of FTP value. Players may be inclined to do some research and calculate the value of an FTP for each item, but luckily FlopTurnRiver has already done all that work! Please refer to the table below for the FTP values of each item in the store. This table will be updated as more items are added to Full Tilt Poker's Black Card store.
