This Summer Is Gauntlet Season! With summer just around the corner, we kick off the 7th season of our popular online poker league, the FTR Gauntlet, this Sunday! Below, you'll find links to help you join in on the fun, but first... Exclusive Events* "Money-added" means the prize money is added to the total prize pool, so all winners receive extra prize money. May 20 at 8:00pm ET: $100 money-added tourney at Doyles Room! The FTR20 takes place on the 20th of each month. And remember, Doyles Room accepts US players again (in most states). Just $2.20 is all you need for this event. May 30 at 9:00pm ET: $300 money-added tourney at PokerStars! We now have a new monthly exclusive event with PokerStars! Beginning this month, the FTR300 will happen on the 30th of every month. For only $3.30, you can play for this extra prize money with your friends at PokerStars. The FTR1stSun is a $3.30 private tournament that happens on the first Sunday of every month. Save your first Sundays for PKR! June 5 at 10:00pm ET: $500 money-added tourney at Full Tilt Poker! The FTR500 is a monthly tournament that has been set up exclusively for FTR forum members. It's a $5.50 tourney that takes place on the 5th of every month. This is one of our most popular monthly exclusives, so don't miss out on the fun! June 13 at 10:05pm ET: $300 money-added tourney at Bodog Poker! The FTR333 is another exclusive FTR tourney that happens on the 13th of every month. With a buy-in of only $3.30, you can join your FTR friends for some cheap thrills and a chance at a nice, padded prize. June 15 at 20:00 GMT (3:00pm ET): $150 money-added tourney at CDPoker! The FTR150 takes place on the 15th of each month. For just $5, it's a lot of fun with a chance to win some extra cash. *Passwords for our exclusive events may be accessed by FTR forum members in our FTR Event Passwords forum. You must be a registered FTR forum member to view this forum. FTR Gauntlet VII Season VII of the Gauntlet is set to start this weekend! Beginning Sunday, 18 May 2008, at 3:00pm ET, games are held each and every Sunday at 3:00pm ET and Wednesday at 10:00pm ET. This league has been running since 2004 and with each new season, it's been getting better and more popular! The FTR Gauntlet is a series of $11 buy-in private tournaments hosted at PokerStars. It's free to join the league. All you need is to be a registered FTR Poker Forum member with a PokerStars account and then register for the league here: http://www.flopturnriver.com/poker-league/register.php This season of the Gauntlet is different from past seasons, with a maximum of 16 out of 32 tournaments to choose from, and is a mixed-games format. You can enjoy other varieties of poker besides the standard no-limit Hold'em tournaments. Players may choose to play any mix of full-table or 6-max no-limit Hold'em, heads-up Hold'em matches or pot-limit Omaha Hi-Lo tourneys. Play well and run good and you'll work your way up the leaderboard. At the end of the season, 3rd Place wins free FTR gear and $75, 2nd Place receives FTR gear and $150, but everyone is shooting for 1st Place which gets the FTR gear and $300, plus the beautiful and coveted FTR Gauntlet crystal trophy! That's not all. During select Gauntlet games, there will be surprise bonus or bounty prizes announced, so make sure you show up for your full 16 games!
